I made some of these along with some smaller for the "shot size" solo cups, put some funny saying on them with my cricut (made stencils and painted the sayings), took them to "Stepping Out" which is a huge craft/merchant fair at VA Tech..(they block off downtown Blacksburg VA for it at the start of every year) I sold every one I had and took orders for about 20 more and delivered them to people in B-Burg..The students liked them with VA Tech logo..but be careful about selling college logo stuff around the college. Lol. And they loved the funny sayings.
This year im going to double the amount I made and take them again.
I used cedar fence pickets from Lowes instead of 1X4 material. They only cost about $2.85 each (sometimes 3.25) and are the perfect height already. They are beautiful stained or with just poly on them.
Oh, i priced them at 19.99 each, and never had a complaint about thr cost.

It’s a Shapeoko 3 XXL CNC machine. Here lately I haven’t had time to hand build anything due to all the orders I have backed up on my CNC machine.

I'm doing the same kind of cup holders... how do you keep oracle from tearing? Mine tears every time and I have to touch up the paint..

I sand with 220 grit, stain the piece, then after it dries I apply a coat of polycrylic clear coat. Once that dries I sand again with 220 grit lightly. Then place the oramask over it and use a roller to smooth it out and it works perfect.
I have a video on my channel about how I apply oramask if you wanna check that out.
