Congratulations to Laila for her hard-fought victory. I think you will learn a lesson from this Belgian girl. There is still much to learn. Speed alone is not the solution to success.
The Belgian girl, with the right placement and late batting, tired you out with a good run. That's the type of batting you need. Enjoy the game and be patient , Enjoy and play according to the situation. Speed and aggression are the most common causes of mistakes. Moderate speed is best. Brutal speed will only create error. What is learned is the size of a hand, what needs to be learned is the size of this world.

leylah and raducanu tries to play too close to the baseline. they don't have the timing and strength for it like kerber and other baseline huggers. they should stop trying to force her into this gamestyle and get her a little bit more behind the baseline. it'll be much easier for her to use her topspin and maneuver the opponents around.

You lose angle when you sit that far back, and its defensive. Shes quick enough to get to the ball and take it on the rise.

Not sure why the BJK Cup is happening now when the men are in the clay season, and the women, other than Charleston, are playing hard court?

Clay is starting for both ATP and WTA soon enough.
The BJK Cup also takes place on clay.
