I think sometimes Yak talks about Taem to get Dee's reaction. The same way he spoke about being his boyfriend in front of his parents' grave. Since Dee apparently doesn't show any emotion, Yak thinks he doesn't truly like him besides being FWB. That's why he got sad that Dee insisted on saying their relationship was fake. He doesn't understand Dee is doing it to protect his heart. They both are just blocking each other's feelings.
Also, I don't think Ter is lying. They are portraying him as truly liking Dee, specially because he is always defending him from the bad words of his own supporters. My guess is that they'll show that Ter was desperate for the scholarship due to some honourable reason, that's why he behaved like an a**.
