I remember when THE ALL NEW LET,S MAKE A DEAL use to air at 10:30 am before The Price Is Right with Bob Barker on WBAL TV CH.11 when Ch.11 was with CBS(1981-95)here in Baltimore MD.
10:21 *ARRRRRRRGHH!!!* They would've had eight grand in their pockets! Had Peggy guessed between $1.29 and $2.49, they would've won it. Just devastating.
Contestant Dixie would appear in snapshots that they would put on television sets in future episode. The cue used in the Big Deal......among the longest duration you would hear on this version of Let's Make a Deal. It was written in 1980, as an elongated version of a 1976 cue, for the Canadian version and on that version (there is a clip floating around on RUclips), it played into a key signature change that was never heard on this version.
@@MMB18abel No. It was written years after it was cancelled. The three long cues were only used in the 1980 and 1984 versions of LMAD. One of the cues was played on 1986-1987 Split Second, though. It was played a few times for trips.
10:52 And yet, an another zonk was avoided, so they still won nevertheless. Great job, Lance & Peggy! BTW, Melanie Vincz sure was enjoying her ride on that rickshaw w/ Brian Cummings at the helm. Priceless!
10:44 Nevertheless, they did get $800 inn cash. Not a bad consolation cash prize. 10:52 In fact, it's even better than that Zonk: Melanie Vincz on a rickshaw w/ Brian Cummings pulling it.
MONTY HALL WAS THE MASTER OF LET,S MAKE A DEAL!! BOB BARKER WAS THE MASTER OF THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! & FINALLY PETER MARSHALL WAS THE MASTER OF THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES!!
I just realized that the cue used in the Big Deal was a slower tempo of another cue they used in the 70s that was used alot during the Stan Worth days.
8:57 (sucks teeth) Rats! They missed the limit parameter by 26 cents (It had to be priced within 60 cents, high or low; a $1.20 spread). No eight grand in their future, I'm afraid. And they lost their 80 bucks, too.
RIP!! THE MASTER OF THE LET,S MAKE A DEAL SHOWS MONTY HALL(1921-2017)
4:40 love that rare wheel cue!
Yes we did miss the $8000. We took the $800 We won to buy a much needed refrigerator at that time.
HOW OLD WERE YOU IN 1985

10:21 And a MAJOR OUCH!!! They could've had 8,000 bucks! Man!
if that deal was done like some of Monty's deals involving pricing, (the $1, $2, $3, $4 to get $7) they would have won

Was it heard in the 70s SPLIT SECOND as well?

The 70's Split Second song was indeed used for the car on Door Number 4, though.
@@wschmrdr it was used as the car cue in season one. It was never played in season two.

6:12 he spin for funsies and that saved $900
@1:47 - Monty's thinking "I'll never get my hearing back".

@ 2:30 Oooh! Jelly Belly! 😋
Did anybody notice that when they cut away to open curtain number 4 when the wheel came out that it changed over somehow to 35 instead of number 5.
I just realized that the cue used in the Big Deal was a slower tempo of another cue they used in the 70s that was used alot during the Stan Worth days.
There was the second one with guitars in the midsection.
3:41 that sound effect gets me hyper as all get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Plankton: Was it something I said?

Plus the theme song here uses the same 4 notes as the original version but with cymbal crash as the 5th added note.
I wonder why S2 moved from NBC to Hollywood Center?
To cut costs, maybe. They went from Hollywood Center Studios to MGM Studios in Orlando some 4 years later.
It’s corn! A big lump with knobs! It has the juice! 17:46
