That's a great Idea for a Flask to keep it hot & to keep it safe, so it doesn't brake. I hope your Brother liked what you made & you are so right, when you make something yourself, it means a lot more to the person you have made it for. Because you thought about what to make them, I think it's more Special. I still have things that my Children made me, when they were at school. My eldest Daughter made me a clock which is half the Sun & half the Moon made as one, she cut it all out herself, it's some kind of hard plastic ( with her teacher watching over her ) . My Daughter was 11yrs old when she made it me & she's 35 now , I've still got Everything my Children made me when they at school . Everything my 3 made me are so Special to me . When you have young children, you do what you must to give them the best life you can. Lucky for us I was able to work jobs that allowed one parent to be home with our two boys at all times. My husband worked the night shift and I worked an afternoon shift.
