I’ll try to explain, so we tend to refer to it as whipping. You use your steering to manipulate the car in the air. When you have jumps that are close to corners, you can hold your race line a little better by whipping the car “correctly” as you come off the jump and land the jump. Also it helps the car stay more stable when your jumping and landing jumps at different angles and not straight on. It takes an intermediate level of driving to start successfully whipping the car correctly, so it takes experience. Truggy’s are the easiest car to whip so it’s the most noticeable.
Basically by using the tyres as giant gyorscopes, by steering and changing their speed the vectorial change in their momentum changes the orientation/rotation of the truck.
Nice 👍
Great announcers
26:41 OMG!
How do these cars change direction in air? :o I can see them tilting and pitching sometimes :o
