53:29 I didn’t think I’d start crying, but this was what made it happen. I wanna be like that. I always hope I can make even a little bit of change in someone’s life, for the better. Listening to something like this, makes me so happy and makes me smile so much. This whole subreddit makes me smile (exactly for what it’s for) but some are just so wholesome, I’ll cry.
That knock knock joke just made me laugh out loud in the dead of night, cat is seeking shelter, neighbor's dog is barking and I'm just trying to recover enough air to continue breathing. 10/10 perfect delivery.
The Tumblr post with the cat and the Christmas tree surrounded by plastic bags was originally posted by my friend Ken. He was a great artist and he died from COVID complications in 2021. He was only 39 and I still miss him.
One year for Christmas, me, my aunt and mom donated some of our Christmas presents (we also bought a few) and left them at a neighbors house in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve. Why? The mother, who had two young daughters, had been over for coffee and the subject of Christmas presents came up. She said she couldn’t afford any gifts because she’d just been laid off and was barely affording the rent. So after she left, my mom asked me if I would be okay giving up a present or two to go towards the girls. Ofc I said yes, and ended up gifting half of them along with going to Walmart and buying some little things like those knock off Barbies and stuff. We spent half the night wrapping them and snuck over to their house, left the bag of gifts with a note “from Santa” and rang the bell then left quickly. The next time we saw them the girls were SO excited to have gotten gifts and showed them off happily. One of them was a toy I had BEGGED for. All these years later I’m glad I wasn’t a spoiled little kid and was empathetic enough to give up something I really wanted to make someone else happy.
58:18 my pap was a depression baby sonuva who squirrelled thousands of dollars away around his house, and the first game i wanted to play with him was Monopoly. i Never won once, and im still not sure he didnt cheat, i was in tears by the end of it, but thats still one of my best memories-
40:35 I was working at Arby's in 2018 and witnessed a line of 12 cars all paying for the one behind them until it hit a guy that was about to spend his last $10 while he was out job searching. It was amazing.
I would actually kill to see a 'Granny Gamer' movie like the one described in 54:32, if only because it really proves that age shouldn't be a factor in being into video games. Shoutouts to the older lets-players in the world out there. Y'all are helping make the world a more inclusive place just as much as the young'uns~!

That 4 leaf clover one remined me of something. In my old duplex i used to live in, whenever my cousins came over, one of them (the same cousin) would always find four leaf clovers And it was always him who found them, noone else It was amazing
ok ok so heres something that happened to me in the past and its almost the exact same thing as the post at 9:29 so my dad was still living with me and we were having financial problems because of my dad so the landlord let us skip a month of rent and see how we were doing next month.
It is, I have tried the main issue is how little the words are so my eyes easily get strained giving me a headache and I have to stop so I go for books with bigger font size.
You know how many great people we would have if people would give them a shot. You don't know if that one person that no one hangs out with could be a great actor or artist. We have no clue until we let people do stuff. Imagine how many people would love to volunteer to do acting given the chance to go their and be accepted to do it, not just “hey we like how u look, get in here”. I feel like we are all the same as humans, we all need time to think about it, and if we really want to do it, we'll go do it. We don't gotta be forced to do it. Because you might not be mentally ready for it. It's why I hate stupid people who play “pranks” of their friends with the things they are scared of the most. Like if a person hates clowns why would u get 3 clowns to surround them. That's just gonna mentally duck em up (it's 3am I'm on that loopy loops)
This might be a weird thing to say in this comment section since i dont really have reddit neither do i have a photo to what i will be talking about but when i was 7 my brother had 4 birds 1 flew and got eaten by a stray cat the second one died suddenly and the third one wasn’t eating properly but the last one truly trusted me no matter what happened he even sat on my shoulder and bites my ear but now he passed away because of a stray cat we decided to leave him outside for him to get fresh air next day we see the cat who killed him trying to break the cage when we saw it he was dead he died from a heart attack

I'm such a buzz kill for saying this. Please forgive me. But, I've been dealing with PTSD for 20 years. There is literally no such thing as "healing" from it. It literally rewires your brain, and you can physically see the changes in brain waves caused by it. If you "healed," then you didn't actually have PTSD. You can ask any therapist this, as I am not one, but I've been in two psych wards, once actually AT the veteran's affairs hospital. They don't heal you. They teach you coping mechanisms to live with your condition and learn to control your body jumping straight to fight or flight mode for slight stimuli. PTSD is the most horrendous mental health condition, probably second to schizophrenia. I would pay a million dollars to get rid of the memories. I'm glad that the dude is doing well, but he will never be completely free. It never heals, and things never go back...
I really like this video but i couldnt watch it much because the way the music started and stopped randomly towards the end of a post kept throwing me off in a way that made me weirdly uncomfortable
I do very much enjoy cheese too. There’s a milk a2 milk that actually lets me enjoy milk without the pain. My mom saw it was chocolate milk (Hershey’s) and picked it up for her and me to enjoy but didn’t exactly get it because it’s supposed to hopefully be less hard on digestion and cause less discomfort. It definitely works for me so if you want actual milk but something that’ll be less hard on you try and find it it’s tasty too in case you were wondering.
love when this type of content is posted because it's like a little break from my painful reality :>
Well, your painful reality isn't painful if you don't look at the good of it, like toe beans
