KF51 look like Cyber Tank. Both are good looking
Russia abandons Armata tank.
The head of the Russian defence conglomerate Rostec, Sergey Chemezov:
Attributed this decision to the tank’s exorbitant cost, indicating that the military is opting for the more economical T-90 tanks instead.
Of course, Russia has to use their resources wisely.
Why should they use it, when the T-90M is absolutely enough for this purpose??

I would choose a tank that uses a drone for long range target detection and acquisition with jamming capability.
Panther is much heavier than t 14, might be a disadvantage in difficult terrain.
This is true. Atleast in soft and muddy open field terrains that is majority of terrain in this war in which russian tanks are actually effective as they are fast going onwards on fields. However in forestry and rocky terrain like in northern europe i think german tanks and perhaps all NATO tanks would excel muuuch better than russian tanks. Mostly because russian tanks have terrible reverse speed which is crucial in not open terrain where you need to steer veery much and skip obstacles like big rocks etc. In Finland, our leopard 2a4's and 2a6's are fast beasts in rocky forest environments. I have seen Leopard 2a4 go through many quite thick trees with relatively slow speeds and over rocks that are over 1-1.5 meters high, where as in some videos from this conflict many russian tanks have stopped on basic trees like a car on a brick wall but i have also seen them go straight through them too. Also as seen in this war, western vehicles has much higher crew survivability rate which, i think, comes them being heavier with armor and better design. So lightness or heaviness both have up and downsides and where these vehicles excell does depend much of environment they are used and how they are used. Overall this war has shown modern tanks weaknesses more than better on both sides. Rear and bottom is not anymore the most vulnerable sides of armored vehicles but top also and modern times we have more accurate artillery, missiles and drones to attack from above. This war will greatly change how next generation of armored vehicles are designed.

This one better not get capture, Putin did said that he wants to revise on the Russian heavy tank. And this year the military budget increase by 200%. With so many nato tank being capture, the Russian scientists can skip so many spending on research base on NATO tank heavy design.

Neither. Tanks would be too heavy to transport or be able to maneuver on the battlefield.
There might be more prototypes of the KF51 than actual T-14 in the world. Think about that.
There is only one prototype.. So, not really
Well the KF51 has yet to be approved for mass production as far as I know
The T 14 was never as modern and advanced as people made it out to be on its theoretical operating. On top of that it never actually truly existed in the way people thought and will never likely be fielded. The Panther on the other hand is not only real but a next generation tank that would be far ahead not only technically but on reliability.
One big difference between them is that the Panther KF51 actually exists...
there are 2 Prototypes, one only made for optical use. The T14 has already about 30 models that underwent testing. So, what was that?

So far, the armata is not better than the T34 or any other tank that has seen ACTUAL combat.
It's down to the circumstances, the crews, strategic factors, it's pointless looking for an overall supremacy of an individual tank, it doesn't exist and never did
The T14 has been seen in Ukraine a couple of times. The videos have not been geolocated.
Except in several cases proved in combat over many decades from multiple countries, but other then that theirs none.

A comparison is premature. The panther is still in development, we don't know what the final version will look like.

Russia customer prefer it's tank for being relatively cheaper than western counterparts.
But since T_14 is over budget I don't think it will get many orders.
Thousands
They'll sell a modified and cheaper variant of it. Most countries actually sell a weaker version of what they themselves are using, stopping you from arming a future enemy with equivalent weapons. That or They'll offer all those T-72s, T-80s, and T-90s at a cheaper rate, or their more powerful counterparts, or both.
Plus since they've only built 24 in 10 years, I think buyers will select a tank that will be delivered in numbers BEFORE they die of old age.
T-14 Armata is better
Russia is the best military in the world America is in choking mode now
If they’re the best, how come they’ve barely made progress in Ukraine(which is 1/25th of their size) in about half a year

How weak and insignificant are the NATO countries! The T14 instructions say made in Russia. In the instructions for any NATO tank, a list of manufacturers of any NATO tank contains a huge list of countries. Chassis from one country, turret from another, gun from a third, shells from a fourth... Tiny NATO against huge Russia
😂
True?
Panther (what a familiar name) is the highest achievement of current tank architecture. Armata is probably a harbinger of new architecture, and by the existence of a completely isolated weapons module (turret) it seems to offer the possibility of easier modernization. It will be possible to compare them honestly after both of them take part in a real war.
agreed
The T14 was scrapped with cost being the factor. The company announced this a couple of months ago. Muscovite Federation can't afford to produce as many that are needed and instead improving current designs to meet need and cost factor.
@@MilitaryTechnologyChannelThe T-14 wasn’t scrapped. They abounded within the last few weeks that it has passed all state trials and is ready for serial production. It is definitely very far behind schedule but it will still be by far the most advanced tank in serial production when that starts this year. The design of the T-14 was completed in 2014 (hence the name) and will enter service in 2033. By 2045 Russia will have a full division of these tanks. Russia will dominate the 2050 battlefield with 2010 technology 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don t know which one is better, but for sure the germans and then the russians have made the best tanks since WWII
The T-14 I personally think is a better tank .
However any tank is only as a good as it's operator
Right
yep. See this first hand how Leopard 2A6 suppose to be better then T-72 but ... ho well.
T-14 is first and foremost fiction.
Wise words
@@Benz2533 the 2a6 absolutely seems to work far better than the t-72, of course you cant drive it right through a minefield without losing a track, but we have seen it shrug off two successive atgm hits and just keep going, and they havent really lost many at all, they just have far too few to really make a difference, and they got them way too late. If those atgms instead had hit an t-72 the turret would have gone flying as usual, and the crew would have been charcoal. But even in most of the cases where a 2a6 have been lost, the crew have survived.
After watching LAZERPIG's deep analyst video on T14 this analyst deepth is nothing you literaly said 4th and 5th generation bullshit.
I would like to add the Russians have had a REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD run with its tank engines all T series tanks had extremely heavy issues with the engines breaking down in combat and High maintenance cost to repair and maintain the engines in combat conditions so I dont want to hear about the engine of the T-14 because even Ukrainians have called the factories of these tanks to complain about the engines as a joke to say we captured your T-72B3 because they were even having a extremely hard time fixing them
As of now we cannot say whose the best tank, sincePanther still in its development stage. All of these analysis base on paper. We can judge them on actual battle who will stand out. Just like in Ukraine before the arrival of western tank lots of defence blogger and media taunted the ability with hype underdog the russian tank that according to them would change the table to ukraine, but upon stepping on to battle field almost all western taunted tank easily burned out and converted into scrap.
To start with, the T14 is UGLY.. isn´t it? Even if it was the best tank out there iots too uglky for someone to want it! Hahaha LOL!

Mbt are obsolete today a lot of t90 leopard 2 and abrams got destroyed in Ukraine russia war
Have the Russians actually made more than a few demo T14’s 🤔
Thumbs down for the Panthers torsion bar suspension.
I don't know if anyone has been in a tank with torsion bars if they break one but it is a major job to fix
haha armata have a huge issues with the engine till now :D so stationary tank is not a reliable opponent
Comparing tanks like that is like comparing apple to pineapple first you need to start at the different military doctrines these tanks are made for because if we take the basic "nato-soviet" leopard and t- series tanks is a completely different
The Koreans have a NATO school of tank building. The Merkava tank was created in NATO countries, England in particular. What experience do the Koreans have in creating tanks?
And you know soviet doctrine😂, if t 14 are expensive, then they use soviet doctrine russia will be come a poor country
and now we have the leopard 2 ARC 3.0/Leopard 3
both will get shwacked by a 2K$ drone.
No, because the T14 Armata doesn't exist.
Specs are specs. The only way to know the capabilities of any equipment is to see them in a large scale industrial conflict where neither side holds back. Based on these requirements not even the Ukraine war offers a sufficient testing ground
Wtf are you talking about
It also does not remain restricted just to numerically identical tank vs tank battles and boils down to how they cope with evolving threats and tactics in a long drawn war. Fast maintenance and availability of critical spare parts also matter in coping with attrition issues.

real question is... should we even allow Germans to develop their own tanks? ... at least they didnt name it Panzer
It's all fun and games until we hear tiger 3
You cant compare these tanks as they have not been into combat. One is fairly new (KF51) and the other hides in hangers far from battle (T14).
The Version for ungary will first become a 120mm gun to ammunition compatiblitay to nato when i remember right. Germany goes with the A8. Seen no Aramta beside parades, not much produced and problems with engines (Design goes back to a german engine). The KF51 can use Drones for scouting or attacking. It can have 4 crews -> better mainteance during operation. Ukraine shows: no tank is safe, the question is: which crew lives longer.
Everyone always talks about speed, but you can't really drive fast with a tank without hurting the crew seating in the turret when you enter a hole.
Is this the reason why the Russians don't put crew into the turret? 😂

“Testament to Russia’s tank design” In that case their tank design history is very small is they only have 5-7 T-14s

No.
Next question...
what changes in a weapon is how adapted it is to the current war, the panther is literally just like the leopard, there is nothing very different about it, unlike the Russians who have been participating in wars and adapting their weapons according to the threats. Germans stopped at the old leopard design, this panter is more comparable with the T-90M which does the same thing to improve an old design which in this case was the T-72., the T14 is completely new.
on paper every tank is somehow good, but we see in Ukraine that specs are just specs, every single NATO tank and Russian/Ukrainian tank stood in flames hit by some small drone
99% of tanks wil not be destroit by tanks
Now 152 mm for the 14-armata
