Some people are gonna hate no matter what you say or price trucks at. But the facts are that you guys are doing awesome work and great to deal with. Iv only heard good things about your car lot.
Here's some flack for ya! You're lookin at an 18k truck MAX! Honestly less than that as it's gonna take a min of 25/30k to do this rig back right. Also pretty sure there's more than just a little bit of that "cancer" hidin in and underneath. I've owned several and currently own a daily driven show quality last year model K5 Silverado. Anyway, good luck with the sale. If the price were more realistic, I might nibble on it myself!
we dont disagree heck we wish we could have paid 5000 for it but we all know the market on these trucks is driven by the internet sales on the shows for 50-100k trucks that also are not worth that. We just add our fair margin of profit and roll on. Again if we bought it for less we would sell for less but we are in a high market and we are not passing up on these when we find them
@@DavisOffRoad1 man if I had the cash I would’ve jumped on it! I currently own a full custom 1974 GMC High Sierra K25 Camper Special, I absolutely love these old Squarebody trucks, especially the uncommon ones. Great share man!
@@DavisOffRoad1 the fact that it was TBI on a 454 Big block was a surprise to me and the beautiful black paint was almost in perfect condition and I loved the tires man that was a nice touch the tread pattern looked perfect with the truck and that dash pad!!! What the heck?!?! That literally NEVER lasts on these old trucks! I was blown away!
Its a pretty truck, but I believe the interior has been redone, & here's why I say that. Dash pad is clearly a replacement, the factory ones have squared edge around the gage cluster opening. Door panels are NOT factory, as Custom Deluxe is solid plastic(like these started) without map pockets; someone has added those to base level door panels. Seat is most likely from a conversion type truck(as he states Choo-Choo, or other. Gage bezel has been modified at the radio opening, as well as it has the Silverado metal applique, a Custom Deluxe has a Black bezel with chrome trimmed openings. The exterior of the cab has the stainless band above the bed, which wasn't available on Custom Deluxe, UNLESS you ordered 2 tone paint scheme. And the tailgate trim is an add on, it wasn't available on Custom Deluxe. Before someone says what about exterior decor option?" I ask, then where is the hood ornament that would be part of that option? It looks as though someone added a lot of trim from a Silverado to this one. Which is fine but, it's not factory. This is why you need to learn how to read & identify the options on the SPID label, to know how any given truck was built.
All in what you can find. This one is not a steal but is a fair deal for a squarebody with great history and very original truck. Just like the 10,000 trucks before it it will sell too just have to find the person that can appreciate it.
@@racer193wr this truck was set up this way from new it was a conversion company such as choo-choo custom etc that did the upgrades and they are era correct for sure
I'm trying to get an 86 c30 on the road. 2 wheel drive version of that. Basically life keeps happening and sets me back!!!😅😅
We understand that it takes a lot of effort. That’s why we specialize in it.

Agreed. I have the 85’ crew 4x4 dually camper special and have 40k into the restoration on it. Takes alot to get these up to par.
That’s amazing!
This was a very rare truck

That’ll be a good build if you get the stance right it’ll look good going down the road short bed would be be even more rare

Beautiful
Thank you!
Its a pretty truck, but I believe the interior has been redone, & here's why I say that.
Dash pad is clearly a replacement, the factory ones have squared edge around the gage cluster opening.

Seat is most likely from a conversion type truck(as he states Choo-Choo, or other.

Theres a good chance
Damn I’d really like to own this one
Going through our archives I see!
@@DavisOffRoad1 always my man.
I love it
thanks
Who ordered that truck in without the auxiliary fuel tank ?
True it was probably only a $50 option back then 😂😂
I have the same truck . What size tires you running ?
33's I believe
Does it come with Navigation and heated seats?
Just kidding. Awesome truck thanks for sharing.
it sure can thats no issue
I like it
Thank you!
That a lot for a rusty pickup. I see rust free K30 Crew cabs cheaper than this asking price

i have an 86 just like this og but mine is standard
Nice
Beautiful truck, what would it cost to ship it to Massachusetts?
Contact us at 804-271-0030 we would be happy to get you a price!
Love that truck but the guys are not from that truck.. what did they come from or where they custom from a shop?
Its a two owner truck from here in virginia
@@DavisOffRoad1 it was supposed to say guts as in interior. The seats are some kind of custom setup..
@@racer193wr this truck was set up this way from new it was a conversion company such as choo-choo custom etc that did the upgrades and they are era correct for sure
So how much do they want for this truck
Sold
Check to see if it's a 3+3 model.. that's usually what a 4X4 dually would be. As long as it has locker diff
3+3 would be a crew cab
yes the 3 plus 3 was dedicated to be for crew cabs,,,, 3 front passengers and 3 rear
How much would it cost to put a diesel motor and transmission in it
just depends on the style etc
Diesel trucks are stupid, I hate them, especially manuals. Original big-block, Short Cab, Dually 4x4, it's a real Holy Grail of Squarebody Trucks 😎
I am sale now
sold but we will have others www.davis4x4.com
Original 😂😂😂😂😂 it's still 30 plus years old
Exactly
How much? $
sold but we will have others always getting new stuff in daily love our square bodys,,, www.davisautosales.com for inventory

It was one cool piece
