    Thats a neat walking robot i know theorical physics so i can already imagine what its like to make my own after all Einstein was also a theorical physicist and he said himself that imagination is more important than knowledge.

    I'm confused with the small circles.. As mentioned in your measurements, I cut out circles of diameter 4cm but then in the video your using something smaller than that... Please clear my doubt

    Which motar had you use for this project

  • @icenesiswayons9962
    @icenesiswayons9962 6 лет назад +3

    This one is so simple any one should be able to follow it. Straws for axial/shaft sleeves, standard 3 to 9 volt motor from radio shack for kits, make sure rubber bands are not too tight or it will not rotate.As far as measurements go, look at the video again and count the card board flews. Shafts are made from kabob sticks. Hope this helps you guys!

    • @nantucketfog2858
      @nantucketfog2858 6 лет назад

      Iceinesis, could that be why the wheels are turning? I thought the shaft of the inner wheel (sandwiched between larger wheels) is too narrow or the rubber bands are too fat. What do you think he's using for the cog on the motor? I created one with popsicle sticks glued to the shaft of the motor. It seems to work, but I wonder how long it will last.

    a useful tip would be to use rubber bands which are already a bit slack. otherwise, it's way too tight and the pulleys don't turn. I've tried this model, and it works.

    What is the diameter of the small circles? I tried 2cm and 1cm but was too small, tried 3cm and 2cm, was too big, then 2cm and 1.5cm and still not enough....
