If normal knight survives a rocket then the evo knight should survive 3 minion hordes and still get a hit on the tower. That is probably what happened at Supercell when they were making evo Knight
Yes I agree, but all of his videos are just over 8 min. This is the minimum amount of time to place midroll ads on RUclips. Therefore every one of his videos is the minimum effort needed for midrolls. While I do appreciate his content and enjoy it, the reason he is so to the point is because after the video is 8 min he doesn’t need anymore effort.
My theory is that Supercell made the evo bomber a 1 cycle evolution because it wasn't a commonly used card (compared to the ice spirit that was a very popular card, so they made it 3 cycles at first) so they were afraid that people wouldn't care about this card if its cycle was too high. It's like they decide the cycle of evolutions based on the popularity of the card which doesn't make any sense.

I honestly disagree with Valkyrie's rating. I don't know how many times Evo Valkerie has saved me from losing or has won me games, but all I know is that she's pretty good. In my opinion, I would honestly put her in mid - upper B
I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again: evo ice spirit needs a _range_ buff. Ice spirit is bad because the concept is just bad. You get a good defense every 3rd cycle. If you need evo ice spirit to defend, then what about the 2 other times you don’t have evo ice spirit? If you can defend without evo ice spirit, then why do you need evo ice spirit to defend the 3rd time? Ice spirit is a good card, no doubt, but there’s no reason to waste the evo slot on him when you have much better alternatives. Let’s look at the other evos: - bats (increased hp, good at counter pushing) - knight (increased hp, busted as the tank in front of an offensive push) - evo firecracker (increased hp, good at splashing the tower) - evo bomber (busted at splashing the tower) - recruits (charges once they lose their shield, provides great offensive dual lane pressure) etc, etc See the pattern here? All the other evos (besides valk), are busted on offense. Every time you get the evo, you get a chance to break through your opponent’s defense, whereas, ice spirit and valk have limited offensive capabilities. How do we buff ice spirit’s offensive capabilities without making the defense completely broken? We buff its range. A current issue when ice spirit crosses the bridge is that you don’t get to decide on where it will land. That means, on offense, your opponent will likely either waste its ability with another cheap card like skeletons, or your opponent will spell/splash it. Increasing the range will precisely make Ice Spirit far more threatening on offense. It will target earlier, it will jump just slightly earlier, reducing your opponent’s reaction time. With enough range, it could even sometimes jump across river, which could very well be a game changer if it freezes a building. At the same time, buffing its range on defense won’t change many interactions Currently, ice spirit has a range of 2.5, if we double the evo ice spirit’s range to 5.0, it will be the same as archers’s range. I think it could be a sweet spot Also, make it 1 cycle. Still can’t believe evo bomber is 1 cycle while ice spirit is 2 cycles.

@PC--Doctor I hate hog rider but it's the 1 to 3 elixir cards that's ruining the game, it's having fake elixir leads with skeletons, ice spirit, knight, log...etc cards like this that are too strong for it's elixir cost that all deserve nerfs. Hog shines when the person using hog CONSTANTLY gets fake elixir leads.

If you really struggle against hog EQ, just use giant graveyard or gob giant sparky, they're really easy to play and have a strong matchup against it. No popular decks run fireball and arrows, but EQ is this main deck. Breaking through a tesla/bomb tower is really difficult with Hog EQ, especially now that the miner decks are cheaper than the hog decks. As for gob giant, mainly sparky, its nearly impossible to get damage after double elixer, cause they can just spam sparkies and create massive pushes. And ofc, if all else fails, little prince can basically ban you from going in before it crosses the river
I disagree with valk personally, she sure doesn’t gain any additional stats but she can counter things like hog rider and golem completely and because of that could pair well with inferno dragon for example, valk keeps win condition running to tower while dealing damage and inferno dragon take out the win condition. The second reason why I sort of disagree with valk in F teir is because of the fact that she does kinda do extra damage from the tornado, not saying she’s S, A or even debatably B teir in just saying she’s definitely above F
Technically, you can fully counter Evo Wall Breakers with a Tombstone you just have to place it directly on top of both of them. So yes, you cannot counter both of them if they are split.
In my opinion, evo mortar and RG are the most fun evolutions. Evolutions are about cycling and so are win conditions, so them being both is more enjoyable to me. I find it more fun to use a cool card that I've been building up to in order to attack than defend/support
Yeah, the Evo Bomber needs some nerfs, it should not be able to dish out so much damage for such little cost, effectively making it almost pseudo MArcher and sometimes even better than the MArcher. The one cycle part about it makes it even more broken than it already is because of its cost and high flexibility in decks. If I was balancing this, I’d make the max bounces to 2 instead of 3 and give it a 2 card cycle instead because so far, those two issues are present right now and running the ladder. Honest to god, I am genuinely scared what the other evos will have in the future, an evo golem for imaginary purposes sounds ridiculously broken and the evo ewiz coming soon sounds insanely scary. We’re all screwed

As broken as Evo bomber and wall breakers are, I feel like knight is the bigger problem. Its just too versatile and fits into literally every deck, whereas the evo wall breakers and bomber only work in a few decks. right now, the evo knight sits at a 41% use rate, which is just insane. Just the fact it has consistently been the best evolution since its release (minus the broken evo archers) just proves how versatile it is. It just fits into every deck, even ones you wouldn't expect it to work in like lava hound.
true but here's the complicated thing, if they nerf it again they could kill it, it does need a slight nerf, maybe down to 50% dmg reduction and a 3-5% hp nerf but other than that i think thats all that should be touched since its not op but it fits very well in a lot of decks

Valkyrie: Evo stat bonuses to make her a competitive alternative to the Evo Knight. Possibly reduce her number of cycles to 1. Knight: 50% shield nerf and evo stat nerf. Bomber: Increase number of cycles to 2. Bomber should die to log OR doesn't one shot spirits (revert the recent 3% damage buff). Ice Spirit: Reduce number of cycles to 1. HP buff to survive log OR Increase range. Skeletons: First hit speed nerf. Wall Breakers: Barrel phase dies to log. Royal Recruits: Remove evo stat bonus.
HOLD UP you mean you want knight to have a 30% dmg reduction, you're crazy that will kill knight 100%, if they were to do that they should change knight to 1 cycle if you want those nerf to happen to be fair.
IMO The thing about firecracker is that she's broken by herself, her evolution is just fine, evo firecracker deals barely more damage than normal one, it's just an EXTREMELY annoying card which has basically only one real weakness which is king tower activation
Imo while yes firecracker does mainly pair with hog decks, it’s still is better than the normal FC and I’ve seen more and more people use it more than many other troops and slowly have been seeing them in other decks imo tho it should’ve been low B
I think people who play it in other decks don't play the optimal version. Because you can instead use evo archers in those decks. They fill the same role but are way better in every way.

Im enjoying using the Evo RG with Evo firecracker. Theres just something comforting not having to worry about your cards getting nerfed. Ill never get prince maxed so dont even bother with him.

Id say evo rg alone without rage is c tier, bcz even if they place ground physical damage units, they can still reach and damage him, but with rage thats not possible

This is what I feel 1. Bomber (one cycle is unreal) 2. Knight 3. Skeletons 4. Archers 5. Recruits 6. Wall breakers (played a lot against them, never really felt scared at any point) 7. Cracker (super annoying) 8. Mortar 9. Barbs 10. Bats 11. Valkyrie 12. RG 13. Ice (seriously needs a buff, one cycle maybe?)
How i would balance the evolutions: -Evo spirit: increase the hitpoints, so he can survive the log -Valkyrie: add a 10% more health, increase the tornado damage so it can kill skeletons and bats, but decreasing the tornado range from 5,5 tiles to 4,5 tiles -Barbarians: Decrease the rage boost to a 25% from 35% (it's not broken but it's crazy that one single card can make the 3 crowns on his own) -Bats: decrease the damage speed to 1,2s (from 1,3s) but increasing the first attack speed to 0,5s (from 0,2s) -Royale Recruits: charge initiation to 2,5 tiles -Skeletons: increase the first attack speed to 0,5s (from 0,2s) -Knight: remove the extra damage, it means that is going to make the same damage than a normal knight -Bomber: make it 2 cycles to evolve or reduce the bouncing damage to the half (230->115)
I’d say my only issue with evolved bomber is you can still get king tower activation if you place it lower towards the king tower. But yeah most of the list I agree with.
Very good list, only change I would make is switching evo skellies and wall breakers. In a meta where everyone runs buildings evo wb don’t get much value compared to the skellies in most games
Evo RR is underrated cus it can be like your main troop and the rest can be support splits or spells that can support. I also agree about the evo skelly cycle, usually i pair it with a mini tank just so it can multiply. its just my opinion tho, no harm intended
i don't agree with firecracker. My main deck doesn't have fireball or arrow and firecrackers always suck the life out of me. So, firecracker is slightly better than bats imo (I am at 9000)
I would put Mortar higher. Valkyrie is one of the few Evos that actually needed a health boost. She draws all the other cards to herself and gets obliterated immediately.
Evo bomber is kind of overrated, especially after the hp nerf, one arrow or delivery at the right time is all you need, knight is the best imo, solid mini tank. Evo Valk needs a hp buff fr.
I actually love the evo ice spirit because it counters hog, balloon, mini Pekka, and many more. Just gotta play it smart. I think the evo wall breakers are stupidly OP.
I always knew how good evo knight was but since I changed my deck to loon knight cycle from loon 2.9 with evo knight/evo skeletons I realized that he's so much better than I thought lmao, this guy has 5k HP for 3 elixir

some evos got better since the double evo update, like bats, the mortar and the wallbreakers. evo knight needs to have the same stats of a regular knight or make it vulnerable to spells even if he's walking. evo bomber it's broken as hell but they should nerf it in the right way. just make the bouncing bombs have the same range of the bomb that the bomber throws or put an errata were one bomb can't hit the tower twice the breakers are also broken. just transfer more damage from the barrel to the runners
I could be wrong about this. For me, transferring the damage from barrel to runners feels like a buff and a nerf at the same time. Spells are more effective when the barrels deal more damage because then it doesn't hurt as much to let the runners connect if you need to. Units are less effective when the barrel deals the damage because they obviously die or get damaged more.
Great tier list I just disagree with evo skeletons level, I have never had an issue with them, I just log them every time I’ve had way more issues with firecracker evo I’d swap their tier levels
If evi ice spirit were to become good, the dev team needs to give the evo ice spirit its multi freeze a death spawn Ability or something like that, for example If the evo spirit gets logged the multifreeze still activates even though the spirit dies
its kind of unfortunate now for me to try and learn new decks from youtube and streams with the high tier meta being 2 evos. I cant look for new decks to try anymore or really get as much enjoyment out of trying to learn from watching streams because its not quite the same. I get that i can watch old vids to learn but still, this double evo for lower non p2w players sort of is a bummer for watching content
fire cracker is so annoying and it is create if you keep it alive for the extra posion damage. Bats are easy to counter if you have a spell or just place like lots of air units.
except for the firecracker take, it seems good. i say that because firecracker has too much hp, does too much dmg, insane range, hits tower from half way across the other side, and etc. it just does too much for just three elixir, but the bomber is indeed a better evo
I actually like that it’s one cycle it makes it different. Need a Nado nerf and a nerf to the damage of each bomb bounce (100%, 66%, 33% ?) to make it more balanced tho
I just started using the evo knight today, and I don't know if it's because he's such a low level or if I was just getting bad matchups, but I was literally getting zero value out of him, it just felt like I was using a normal knight every time I placed it, I'm pretty sure the 60% damage reduction only kicked in twice
In my opinion, evo knight isnt S tier, or even in the top 3. While it is versatile, it feels like its easily countered all the time. It took a huge hit with the attack speed nerf, and imo, its slightly worse than evo archers. I would put it low A or high B tier.
you are so wrong for the valkirye if you pardon me the expression : The valkirye has in fact no stats bosst , but because of the tornado effect , she deals 111 more damage on level 15, this tornado also hit air troops , countering bats , and the fact she bring ennemies on her make her counter the firecracker during push or defense ? She also counter win conditions , hog rider or golems cannot approach the tower if correctly placed. Like the tornado card , you can activate your king tower. Finally , you can also play with her a splash damage unit like baby dragon , because she gonna stack the ennemies. For me , she is a A atleast .
Actually, I think Evo Ice Spirit is one of the only evos that isn't really op or unfair. It's good at stalling, and while it takes a while to prepare, don't forget it costs only 1 elixir, basically nothing. If it was ready after one turn, that would be outright unfair, allowing you to spam evo ice spirits. Ice Spirit isn't supposed to deal damage, it's supposed to stall, to support, so buffing it's output is meaningless. And due to it's high speed, it's only in danger of dying if you place it poorly, so an HP buff is also kinda pointless.
The main things evos should do is A special ability And slightly increased stats They should survive their regular counter spells Evo bomber should survive arrows Larry should survive log, zap, tornado, and snowball
Depends on yourself, think about what is going wrong in the games you lose. Do you lose because you struggle with defense? Then bomb tower is better to upgrade. Do you lose because you don't get enough tower damage during a game? Then Eq is better to upgrade.
i feel like evo valk would be super good if they gave it a nice hp boost, i don't mind using it every now and then but the low health is just such a downside

I feel like evo knight is ranked too high. Don't get me wrong, it's a strong evo, but if you use the intended counters it isn't overpowered. Many people try to say that it has too much health but don't consider that you can't counter it like a normal knight. It's a versatile evo that can act as a solid tank, but it isn't better than other evos such as the recruits.
Evo barbs could most likely go crazy with Evo bomber but I wouldn’t know cuz I haven’t unlocked 2 Evo spaces yet. Also giving Evo to everyone made most of the players in my arena 5-6 spam the shit outta skeleton and knight Evo and some how fire cracker but with fire cracker and new players you can just bait em with a tower
I personally think skeletons are S tier. They’re insanely good as they can win a whole game on their own and are also a guaranteed positive elixer trade
I disagree and think that evo firecracker should be placed at least A tier, firecracker can get amazing value paired with a large tank and tornado. As well as on defense too, the fact that she cant die to arrows is also a major benefit as to why firecracker should be placed higher meaning that the oppenent would need to use 2 spells or a fireball on an evo firecracker.

I disagree with valk personally, she sure doesn’t gain any additional stats but she can counter things like hog rider and golem completely and because of that could pair well with inferno dragon for example, valk keeps win condition running to tower while dealing damage and inferno dragon take out the win condition. The second reason why I sort of disagree with valk in F teir is because of the fact that she does kinda do extra damage from the tornado, not saying she’s S, A or even debatably B teir in just saying she’s definitely above F
Technically, you can fully counter Evo Wall Breakers with a Tombstone you just have to place it directly on top of both of them. So yes, you cannot counter both of them if they are split.

In my opinion, evo mortar and RG are the most fun evolutions. Evolutions are about cycling and so are win conditions, so them being both is more enjoyable to me. I find it more fun to use a cool card that I've been building up to in order to attack than defend/support
Yeah, the Evo Bomber needs some nerfs, it should not be able to dish out so much damage for such little cost, effectively making it almost pseudo MArcher and sometimes even better than the MArcher. The one cycle part about it makes it even more broken than it already is because of its cost and high flexibility in decks. If I was balancing this, I’d make the max bounces to 2 instead of 3 and give it a 2 card cycle instead because so far, those two issues are present right now and running the ladder.

As broken as Evo bomber and wall breakers are, I feel like knight is the bigger problem. Its just too versatile and fits into literally every deck, whereas the evo wall breakers and bomber only work in a few decks. right now, the evo knight sits at a 41% use rate, which is just insane. Just the fact it has consistently been the best evolution since its release (minus the broken evo archers) just proves how versatile it is. It just fits into every deck, even ones you wouldn't expect it to work in like lava hound.
true but here's the complicated thing, if they nerf it again they could kill it, it does need a slight nerf, maybe down to 50% dmg reduction and a 3-5% hp nerf but other than that i think thats all that should be touched since its not op but it fits very well in a lot of decks

IMO The thing about firecracker is that she's broken by herself, her evolution is just fine, evo firecracker deals barely more damage than normal one, it's just an EXTREMELY annoying card which has basically only one real weakness which is king tower activation

Imo while yes firecracker does mainly pair with hog decks, it’s still is better than the normal FC and I’ve seen more and more people use it more than many other troops and slowly have been seeing them in other decks imo tho it should’ve been low B
I think people who play it in other decks don't play the optimal version. Because you can instead use evo archers in those decks. They fill the same role but are way better in every way.

How i would balance the evolutions:
-Evo spirit: increase the hitpoints, so he can survive the log
-Valkyrie: add a 10% more health, increase the tornado damage so it can kill skeletons and bats, but decreasing the tornado range from 5,5 tiles to 4,5 tiles
-Barbarians: Decrease the rage boost to a 25% from 35% (it's not broken but it's crazy that one single card can make the 3 crowns on his own)
-Bats: decrease the damage speed to 1,2s (from 1,3s) but increasing the first attack speed to 0,5s (from 0,2s)
-Royale Recruits: charge initiation to 2,5 tiles
-Skeletons: increase the first attack speed to 0,5s (from 0,2s)
-Knight: remove the extra damage, it means that is going to make the same damage than a normal knight
-Bomber: make it 2 cycles to evolve or reduce the bouncing damage to the half (230->115)

Evo RR is underrated cus it can be like your main troop and the rest can be support splits or spells that can support. I also agree about the evo skelly cycle, usually i pair it with a mini tank just so it can multiply. its just my opinion tho, no harm intended
i don't agree with firecracker. My main deck doesn't have fireball or arrow and firecrackers always suck the life out of me. So, firecracker is slightly better than bats imo (I am at 9000)

Valkyrie is one of the few Evos that actually needed a health boost. She draws all the other cards to herself and gets obliterated immediately.

evo knight needs to have the same stats of a regular knight or make it vulnerable to spells even if he's walking.
evo bomber it's broken as hell but they should nerf it in the right way. just make the bouncing bombs have the same range of the bomb that the bomber throws or put an errata were one bomb can't hit the tower twice
the breakers are also broken. just transfer more damage from the barrel to the runners
I could be wrong about this. For me, transferring the damage from barrel to runners feels like a buff and a nerf at the same time. Spells are more effective when the barrels deal more damage because then it doesn't hurt as much to let the runners connect if you need to. Units are less effective when the barrel deals the damage because they obviously die or get damaged more.

Forget positive elixir trade it’s hard to get a NEUTRAL trade against them. If your deck has something that takes a -1 trade from them you feel great

its kind of unfortunate now for me to try and learn new decks from youtube and streams with the high tier meta being 2 evos. I cant look for new decks to try anymore or really get as much enjoyment out of trying to learn from watching streams because its not quite the same. I get that i can watch old vids to learn but still, this double evo for lower non p2w players sort of is a bummer for watching content

I just started using the evo knight today, and I don't know if it's because he's such a low level or if I was just getting bad matchups, but I was literally getting zero value out of him, it just felt like I was using a normal knight every time I placed it, I'm pretty sure the 60% damage reduction only kicked in twice
In my opinion, evo knight isnt S tier, or even in the top 3. While it is versatile, it feels like its easily countered all the time. It took a huge hit with the attack speed nerf, and imo, its slightly worse than evo archers. I would put it low A or high B tier.

Actually, I think Evo Ice Spirit is one of the only evos that isn't really op or unfair. It's good at stalling, and while it takes a while to prepare, don't forget it costs only 1 elixir, basically nothing. If it was ready after one turn, that would be outright unfair, allowing you to spam evo ice spirits. Ice Spirit isn't supposed to deal damage, it's supposed to stall, to support, so buffing it's output is meaningless. And due to it's high speed, it's only in danger of dying if you place it poorly, so an HP buff is also kinda pointless.
The main things evos should do is
A special ability
And slightly increased stats
They should survive their regular counter spells
Evo bomber should survive arrows
Larry should survive log, zap, tornado, and snowball
There are times where the regular Valkyrie gives more value than evo

What should I upgrade first for hog eq MM deck? Eq to lvl14 or bomb tower to lvl14?
Depends on yourself, think about what is going wrong in the games you lose.
Do you lose because you struggle with defense? Then bomb tower is better to upgrade.
Do you lose because you don't get enough tower damage during a game? Then Eq is better to upgrade.
i feel like evo valk would be super good if they gave it a nice hp boost, i don't mind using it every now and then but the low health is just such a downside

I feel like evo knight is ranked too high. Don't get me wrong, it's a strong evo, but if you use the intended counters it isn't overpowered. Many people try to say that it has too much health but don't consider that you can't counter it like a normal knight. It's a versatile evo that can act as a solid tank, but it isn't better than other evos such as the recruits.
Imo calling the byfar most played card in the game ranked too high is ridiculous.

I disagree and think that evo firecracker should be placed at least A tier, firecracker can get amazing value paired with a large tank and tornado. As well as on defense too, the fact that she cant die to arrows is also a major benefit as to why firecracker should be placed higher meaning that the oppenent would need to use 2 spells or a fireball on an evo firecracker.
