My wife's cousins works in China factory. Basically its like this. If ADIDAS orders the factory 50,000 unit, they will do 60,000 units. They will just do extras and sell it for their own profit.
The price of doing business with China.
I own one of these 'chinese' factory, I have been doing this since the 80s.
cool story bro
@mmcgear4376 45person believed it. Cheers. lets go for a drink? Hahahaha
@odengerrard88 do you mean you believe or not believe this? Because this is truly how things work. And you can't blame the factory because Adidas made them sell below cost of manufacture. And instead of making an extra 10000 units to sell, it's more like the factory makes an extra 100000 units to sell. The 'unlicensed' sales are used to subsidise the 'licenced' sales so the CEO of Adidas can make millions in 'bonus'.
They're not even that much cheaper not surprised if they're all legit pairs
You're missing the point, they are mostly rare, unreleased or country specific etc. Not about the price
@SnaggleDave only 1 of them is China exclusive. the rest are standard colorway
@SnaggleDavealmost nothing exclusive its all normal stuff shien sports outlet sells authentic stuff
Plus, they're literally 500 yuan in the official Adidas store (that's around £40, £50 anyway)
considering companies try to cut costs constantly by moving production and using lesser materials, the older stock shoes from Shein may be better quality than the ones you can buy at the brand's sites right now.
i would never assume quality is better from shein....
@andysoto792 well Shein are just selling like Amazon does. Quality isnt up to them
that's pretty dumb
@andysoto792 not better quality , they are the same and most of them from the same factory. this is why tTrumps tariffs are the solution
@andysoto792 because you´re brainwashed. All of them come from China/ Asia factories, the only difference is when you buy from the brand´s official website or a third party retails´s website.
$70 for Sambas aint that cheap. Could find them on sale for lower if you look hard enough. IMO it's older original stock. It would be suspicious if they were selling for $20 or something too low.
sambas should be 20 dollars anyway
Nah you can't..only that's possible for some low tier Adidas sneakers being sold plus the discount you can apply it can go less from 20 to 10to15@random-thought-919
Yep. Adidas is one of the more generous brands during sale seasons, where 40-70% discounts are the norm (at least from their US site).
@rohanes for some sneakers you can get them for low as 15 to 20$ but not for the known pairs from adidas
The sellers learned from buyers like you. Silly foreigner doesn't want knock offs at $5 but charge $75 and they want them and think they're all smart and that the products are legit
Same like Levi's jeans made in Indonesia. They made 100,000 pairs for Levi's for example, then the factory made around 120,000. The extra 20,000 pairs they rebranded as different brand like Beloit. Same jeans, same material, same factory, same batch of production, different name, different price. I have a "Levi's jeans" named Beloit.
That sounds about right. And they sell it in their currency, so it seems "cheaper" to the west.
Where are you buying them from?
If your jeans have a different label, no matter what factory made them, they are not Levi's jeans!
Same with watches. It's been like that since the 1920's rebrand. I have an old watch from a brand name called Handley. but inside it's a brand called unicorn. I find that anything called expensive always has a brand that uses the same produce but people don't buy it because it is classed as kid range
I’ll look out for them. Are they vastly cheaper?
You didn't pull one insole to compare the stitching on the inside.
Yep a joke. Didn't even cut them open. Video proves nothing.
@experiment54chumps
The "fakes" are made in the same factories as the originals
Yup, those shoes are called "fakes" because they have no logo on them. The thing that differentiate real and fake is just a piece of branding.
Yeah the difference between a counterfeit or knock off and some products is if it’s made by the same manufacturer but they just not authorized. They probably don’t have the right to produce and sell it because of patents, it’s not official but probably still a “good” product. But patents are also regional and hard and expensive to enforce. What might be protected in America might not be in Europe or Asia and even if it is you might not have the resources to pursue it.
Counterfeit are made by someone else and always for and with cheaper materials.
@keb8907 I couldn’t have said it better myself🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
They are all made in china, rolex's, hermes and LV branded bags etc they need to be sent back to european country for final assembly or final touches to make the thing real and legit and also cost ten times more.
Thats what fake sellers say
That is actually shocking... Of course, without premium labour cost and marketing.. etc it should be that price.
way less
It’s none of that…it’s pure greed on the corporate end…late stage capitalism. You can’t have never ending growth and profits. To keep up the profits they are gouging the customers with poorer quality.
They gotta be real cause if they fake why would they only be like 20-30 dollars off
There reps
@not_nqthan1they are not. You can get 1:1 reps Jordan 4's at these prices.
Nike Zoom Fly 6s directly from Nike in China retail at 999 RMB which is about £108 as you saw on Shein's website - the Shein products are all expectedly legit, just probably the Chinese prices (RMB) for these products with a conversion (GBP)
i agree with this as the XLG runners price is same
Yes, and they are wholesalers usually selling directly to consumers cutting the middle man and just paying for the shipping and delivery
@Hhhh22222-wshien's business model started out as literally just a logistics and distribution company. Essentially, shein makes money from a small tax on sellers. They go to factories, and make lofty guarantees to the factory, regardless of how long it will take to actually sell the stock.
Where's all the cheap shoes? I see nothing but products priced same as retail.
Amircan when they discover that they were overcharge; that is too good to be true
Bro dodged a huge bullet by not smelling his girlfriends worn shoes in the vid 💀
I just looked and the prices are higher now😢
13:07 brother, they make it at $5 cost.
You should have gotten even 1 jordan shoe to try next time 🤝🏻
Don’t be fooled by the recommended retail prices (RRP) of these trendy clothing items-you’ll never guess how low they can drive down the costs. Just yesterday, I bought two pairs of Adidas Team Court Shoes from their official website’s clearance sale-the same ones you compared in the video originally priced at £110. After stacking official discounts and a partner cashback promotion, I paid only **$64 AUD total** (that’s **$32 per pair**), **including shipping**!
I'm from Southeast Asia and retailers here already have better discounts than the branded pairs on Shein lol
Especially for electronics, but that's to be expected, shein isn't marketing itself to Asians, retailers already pay very low prices for logistics from China and oftentimes you can order the products directly from China, compared to the EU or US where logistics cost way more.
It's the same price as any other online retailers here in Portugal... So not even cheaper. Only the manufacturers charge more if you buy directly, for some reason.
The QC for adidas and Nikes are very high, usually these cheaper product is rejected/less than perfect batch.. ive heard from first hand sources that even wrong size threads would be rejected/out-for-disposal..
Best ever commercial for Shein, I am totally convinced. Downloading the app now!
The pirate factories often use original materials and sometimes even the same people working on the real factory.
I think Shein is now like Amazon and ebay. They are just another e-commerce online shop that takes a cut from their sellers sales.
Okay, but why do you paint your eyebrows with Sharpie?
Sadly even the real stuff has qc problems on top of cheap materials
Well, this is classic in any industry really. If you go to your supermarket late at night, like 1-2 hours before they close, you will see many meats, vegetables, foods and pastries on insanely low prices. Like literally some price you'd never even see on a promo. They're trying to get rid of old stock, to sell the fresh stuff tomorrow(cause some of these are very short lived, so even if they're perfectly fine for consumption and can stay another few days, on the outside you can start noticing that they're not fresh, so this needs to get disposed of somehow, and obviously it's better to sell it for cheap, rather than throwing it away). Same thing happens with clothes, if you visit around and start paying attention, you will find many clearance sales. What is left over from them, can go even cheaper elsewhere. That's how some places can sell clothes from an old collection(say 1-2 years ago) for half or less than half the price the product would have costed just 2-3 months ago. They just wanna get rid of the stock. Sometimes these stocks end in the hands of other resellers that then bump up the price a little so they can make profit on it, but still sell for less than the newest version of this same product. I don't see much harm in this practice when it comes down to clothing really.
P.S - before anyone asks how they can sell brand new models for cheaper than retail, remember that prices are not the same in every country, another very common practice. Resellers buy in big quantities the product from a less fortunate country, for a price lower than what the retail goes in other more fortunate countries. Then they sell the product for a price still lower than what most people would pay in their country.
Just had a shein ad before this lol
Just because it says "Made In" doesn't means it's true
Why is this guy going so nuts about a 20-30% discount!?!?
No Nike buy? Interesting
Bros calling out all the things the fakes have and is still unsure 😂
“Fakes” are essentially 1:1, and have been for quite some time now… If there is an item of value, fakes are being made… Just because a shoe isn’t super popular, don’t think that it’s not being reproduced…
They aren't 1:1, they usually have way less glue, making reliability an issue. That's the most consistent problem with them even when they are using the same materials and are stitched well.
For some reason I feel like your body knows if they are fake lol
Bro no tf they are not 😂
they're 1:1 until you wear them
Ehhhhh, I’ve worn fakes/replicas to the point that they get retired to “grass cutters”, and they still hold up, soooooo… 🤷♂️
Bro came straight out of the temu factory
Lmao
This guy looks like Dylan Page (the news daddy) from wish 😂😂
Shien and Temu are like the Taco Bell of the shopping world they’re affordable and they got your back
Now im curious for the makeup lol
Why didn't bro do a wear test on the products??
Why are you saying bucks instead of pounds?
those prices are in pounds....the guys just bought for the same price as in any other adidas store.....wtf.....
The discounts you show are not really a discount; it is by eliminating certain elements from manufacturing to the 'shelf' (online store in this case), so for these prices they better be original.
Crazy. I didn't think you could get such cheap real shoes. Amazing
It would be nice to know if they are authentic. The comparisons are quite vague and didn't really compare the pairs to each other. A followup video for legit checking would be nice.
also, they just get it straight from the factory versus you buying it via an adidas outlet that puts extra price on it to cover the costs of the physical outlets, the sales personnel etc. I buy Bagsmart bags from their aliexpress shop because their official EU store is more expensive.
Tbh? The pricing almost the same as retail pair in my country
In the uk atleast, you'll find adidas trainers sometimes really good models on sale for lesser on the official website compared to shein,, you just have to keep a lookout.
The prices are basically the same on shame and stockx
You look like megamind with botax bru
I copped the triple white xlgs based off your og video. I love them
excess and or old stock that was limited in certain countries that are getting sold
Thaaaanks for this I found some Air Jordan 4 Rm pine green, and I almost bought them haha.
“CROCS” are waaayyy more expensive on this site which is strange
10:03 identical? The suede bit at the front is different lengths
Thanks for letting us know!
Lets try TEMU next😂😂😂
Am i the only one wonder who was wearing that shoe that he didn’t want to smell it so bad😭😭
Shien is the ross of the online market .
I only buy chinese brand basketball shoes in shein like their flagship because they are definitely authentic.
You should have started with how long they took to get there
In my country in adidas store that's a 49.99€.
Thank you so much was spectical of the price but after watching this im copping som nikes off shein asap!
These are the shoes for use internally in the Asia market...and like you have seen they are made there super cheap and sold with stravagant prices in USA
Nah if this doesnt blow up then im in the wrong youtube
Just got this recommended. So it's blowing up
Problem is that rn the shein NB are $150+
Lmao scan the qr codes see what happens....
Ngl reps are way better than real cuz who is gonna go check your qr code in your box
Fakes are basically from the same factory made with the same material, either it just bad batch that didn’t pass QC or replaced the brand name
So shein has loius Vuitton shoes for $100 and they are about $1300 if ordered straight from LV
Great video man! I was wondering the exakt same thing! After i saw the China vlog i started too search fore a pair of XLG runners and got suprised when i saw a pair in SHEIN! Grey markets have existed a very long time. Especially in the watchindustry
Did you get a pair from SHEIN?
It may look the same but materials and quality can be difference!
Never knew anyone would actually buy through the actual brand shops, its always cheaper going to an outside trader.
I'm in Australia the price on there are same iif not. Dearer then footlocker
The company i work does most of it's production in China, the thing is, most "fakes" are made in the same factory as the original one, it's like, 9-5pm they make the original ones, and after 5pm they start making the "fakes", same factory, same materials, same everything. Most people are unaware, but Adidas, Nike, and many other brands don't own factories; instead, they purchase production time in existing factories, so a lot of times products from different brands are made in the same factory.
these are fairy tales. popular brands now sew very little products in China. and Adidas is among them. there are original certified branded clothes and shoes that are more expensive in China than in the US. do not mix it with fakes. call a spade a spade.
Yeah, pretty much, all to cut cost
Consumers are fools, Blackrock is monopoly, branding is da Matrix, Capitalism is whack
Lol people keep repeating this lie
@NikNePrydumavwhether it's china, Vietnam or Pakistan.. the factory still does this.. Adidas pays them in euros or USD, which in a country with very high daily inflation, is a blessing... But they pay under market rate, so the factory still churns out extra pairs, then they sell those to distributers week list them on places like shien or temu where they can sell em worldwide to people with expendable income.
I bought an adidas from a sports shop and the other from adidas store, the former had glue stain and cheaper the later clean and nice, I ask the seller and were told even the original have grades, that’s explained the price different other than old and new stock
idk what happened but today, the sambas are more expensive in hsein than the adidas store lol
Yes, its just because of stock
We had in Ukraine full official adidas/rebook store with ONLY stock items that sometimes even cheaper than in US/EU
Have you checked the product/style codes on the trainers? Do the tags match the inside labels? Had a chat with anyone else about the trainers and look and feel etc? Be great to see other trainers bought and compared!
I even saw jordans on the site that go for 400+€
How much is the shipping though? It probably brings the price back up to normal or above normal.
I think you should have tried them on to compare sizing and cushioning. They could be pairs that "fell off the truck"
I just seen retro Jordans on there and they’re charging $400+ depending on the shoe. They better be real 😂
Was it real😂
@footballforlifeedit2924How do you define ‘real’?
Did you get the Jordans?
5/5 surprised me
The Adidas probably cost $15 to make
Are you going to do a review on that Adidas Xlg Runners?
Lipstik maybeline in shein original or not
This is crazy
Brands don't allow their shoes to be sold on Shein because they can't ensure these shoes will still command their intended premium pricing. Cheaper shoes are a threat to their traditional retail channels. That's it, it's that simple.
i think you messed up with the additional footage of the box for the Wonder Runners @ 11:04 cause the box is for the XLG Runner and the shot @ 16:43 is the same one ;)
what hoodie are u wearing at the start of the video?
8:55 adidas originals it says it in the asian boxes
Should run the shien shoes tho a legit check app (like check check )
Tax difference...
shein's samba text looks off chief
I have a pantone validated monitor and I can see a color difference in the box real one is darker the color on the tonge logo is darker on the real pair along with the soul its every settle but its noticeable
I thought your dylon page
same like ben baller tells about bape fakes looks same to real ones
Buy a air foce one at shein is worth it?
Buy those reps baby!
Thanks for you informative video, bro ❤
I worked in Tile and Marble industry and anything that didn’t pass our extra specifications and standards was sold off to other vendors and they sold it cheaper. Long term quality is where we could tell the difference and during installation. Not sure how it translates to shoes.
Tile and marble shoes are a scourge on feet and mafia defectors alike.
Would like to try ordering from where you order. Give a link bro, im afaid to search since i might order from a different site
You should've wore one of each pair on both feet to see if they feel the same when walking & running.
