These are a MUST cop. These are so amazing, that shape is the cherry on top. Not just the colors, but just everything about these are so amazing like the 1985 details. I think these are so fire.
Made my decision easier definitely getting a pair thank you weartesters as per usual the highest standards for shoe reviews knowledge and entertainment.
I love that Colorway, out of all the Jordan styles the Air Jordan 1s are my favorite. followed by the 3s 4s and 6s

Just got mine and it's an awesome pair ngl. Lacing this pair is like butter, it just slides through compared to the current AJ1s. Went down half a size and it fits like a glove. Doesn't feel stiff at all and feels like it'll be easy to break in. Awesome review btw!
I wear a 10.5 M in all the 1s I own but I’ve gotten to where I prefer a tighter fit. Good to know. I might go with a size 10. I think it’ll be better to break these in since they are supposedly stiffer than the other 1s.
@@blakeseckinger3280 around 1 or 2 days of wearing it should break it in. It's not as stiff as others would say. It gets comfortable the more you wear it
Some of those cards reminds me of those posters you could get of Jordan on Wheaties boxes. My fav one was the free throw line dunk. Man...that shot made it look like he was a real life superhero flying.
A lot of them were posters back in the day.
The grey shoe laces are definitely it, I can’t wait get my hands on these.
Once I got my hands on one of these, an 85 cut, I never went back to my “current era” retros.
85 cuts feel better, look better, and are actually playable without too much pain like the “current era” retros. Yes the leather is thick and stiff, but that’s what you need when you have to play in them/break them in.
They mold to your feet better that way. These retros that come out that people try to play in, people are more susceptible to an ankle injury, etc.
I know first hand.
This specific video is wonderful, informative, and useful for people who don’t know much about the technology under their feet. This is good learning, for all their videos.

Those cards are sick! I wish I could find a whole set and put them in my display coffee table ! I'm hoping to get the Georgetown 85 ! I don't own any 🤣 but this is my fave of the 85
The Georgetown colorway is my favorite on any shoe. Simple enough to go with anything yet not boring like black/white.
Absolutely, without a doubt copping these. So clean and you cant lose with that colorway. WearTesters destroying all the other sneaker videos on RUclips.

Owner of a pair of 85 Chicago's here, my only gripe is the toe shape on these, for me they almost look like the '94 retros. The rest of the shoe is spot on though, hopefully I'm able to get a pair to compare 🙏🏼.

i copped a pair off GOAT in a damaged box for 70 bucks less (at the time) than the going rate. i am so happy with my pair. and the box was barely damaged. i put sail laces with gold aglets on them, and they are fucking dope!

The 85 Hi is such a dope looking shoe BUT my only issue (which is a deal breaking) is how uncomfortable they are. That narrowness combined w/ the thick/stiff leather just destroys those outer pinky toes & foot.
Had the NG 85 Hi & even after 2 months of wearing them I just had to sell them. Shame too b/c that colorway is so 🔥
Would you recommend going true to size on them? I noticed how nightwing said he should of gone half of size down on them. Thanks for any advice

I would try better insole I have a wide foot so there’s a little more toe length and lacing them semi loose helps also I wear thick socks
I don’t get the side pinky toe pain unless I literally wear them all day and I’m on my feet nonstop
Have this issue right now with the varsity red colorway. Switched out the insole for super thin, still having the pinky toe crushed. Might have to try with thicker socks.
Beautiful shoe. Hopefully we will see some OG colorways in the 85 mold. I am glad that JB is starting to pay attention to detail. These might be the closest retro to the OG’s.
They will probably retro the Chicago’s in that cut

That vintage custom is AMAZING
They perfected 85 in these one. Not as stiff as on the neutral grey they perfected the fit here. Its the perfect 85’s so far, they improve all aspect here.

I was wondering myself they used to have better grade leather for basketball. Nowadays for lifestyle the leather is not as good as the OG basketball shoes. This review really sums it up.

I was super surprised when I got a exclusive access notification from SNKRS huge W for me
I had the original George Town Nike, they did not have any Jordan logos, I believe it just had NIKE on them. I turned them into the hottest roller skating shoes around.
I rock my Georgetown 3s as my daily beater pair. My absolute favorite colorway. Swap out some gold laces to make them a Michigan pair.

I wear an 11 in high OG’s. They fit perfect. But I have a slightly wider than normal toe box. Should I go up a half size for 85’s? Or is just the mid section narrower?

After taking a L on the Chicago cmft ( the closest you'll get to the Chicago colour way without paying an arm and a leg , I actually got a big ass W on these :).
I hope the sizing is the same after hearing how these shoes are some what different .

The funny part about the blue foam used on the Neutral Greys is that it’s supposed to last longer. I know people aren’t wearing their pairs enough, because it will still turn to that “vintage” color if you actually wear them or leave them out of the box for a bit 💀
