- This tutorial goes over the staging of mounting your CNC components for optimal stability. I cover multiple power supply use, and VFD mounting in the drive enclosure.
If you're building your own controller, and have never done it before then this is a must see video.

I’ve seen those cable raceways installed with the teeth up, so that you can see the wires but the raceway simply guides the wires.
Thanks for the videos. I’m putting together a system and have learned a lot from you, especially with regard to safety.
Caleb,
Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it, and am glad to have helped. Thank you,
Vince
Thank you a lot for the really important information you have added in this video. It answered a lot of my questions.
Jehad, thank you for your support. Vince
Good video thanks Vince, Stay safe 👍🏼
Lou , thank you for all your support. I really do appreciate it. Vince
Is faraday fabric effective at helping with emf control? How effective?
Thank you for your support. I need more explicit detail on the application you're trying to shield from EMI. Its very effective for short run wire lead applications. Thank you,
Vince
@@corvetteguy50 I have a 110 huanyang vfd running a liquis cooled spindle. The vfd is mounted under the bench, and there is an X controller on top of the bench. Was wondering if I could make an emf barrier between the two
In best practice a metal enclosure for the VFD, or the X controller would be your best investment as it will provide a Faraday Cage around the component protecting it from EMI.
Thank you,
Vince
