Very informative. One addition regarding translations for use in Italy. In many cases the Italian Municipalities, as well as the Italian courts, will accept translation of US documents if they are authenticated with Apostille, and always if they have been certified by the Italian consulate in the US (notarile).
Thanks for this video, Rafael. I need to obtain a handful of records from Brazil and confirming that I need a certified translation helps with planning.
Hello, thank you for vary helpful videos. I've a question: i'll apply juri sanguinis descending from my great-grandfather who was born in Italy but died in 1909 outside Italy. I have all the necessary documents except his death certificate -is this document absolutely necessary? Somebody told there is an Italian decree saying that such an old death is a given and thus the certificate is not necessary. Many thanks.
Very informative although it is confusing. I am obtaining all Vital Records for my citizenship grandparents were born in Italy on my mother side once I get all the corrected documents is it advisable to hire an attorney to finish the process? Approximately how much does this cost? Should I go to Italy and apply in my family’s hometown? Thanks in advance for your answers
Any issues encountered once a resident of Italy? I have the Italian passport but live abroad, any expected issues if I move to Italy? (Equivalent to DMV and other government offices ??)

Boa sorte!!
