Hero British Cave Rescuer Returns To Heathrow

- Hero cave rescuer Robert Harper catches a flight home from Bangkok to London last night after saving 12 kids and their football coach who were stranded in a Thai cave. Robert was greeted by Thai officials before boarding Thai Airways flight TG910 at 1am local time which is schedule to land at London Heathrow at 7.15am today (Thu). The superstar scuba diver looked exhausted as officials handed him a ''certificate of appreciation'' and a caricature painting of him and fellow Brits John Volanthen and Richard Stanton. Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports Weerasak Kowsurat is heard thanking Robert for his ''service to our society''. Robert then enjoyed fast track priority boarding before going through security checks and being ushered aboard a first class seat on the Thai Airways Airbus A380 for the 12 hour flight home.
Thai people sure know how to treat their hero. It nice to see how grateful they really are.

these people are the real hero's
I,m British, my son is Thai. This is what hero,s really look like. Calm, humble nothing out of the ordinary......On the surface. ! My uncle was a glider pilot in ww2, he flew many mission,s, he often had to land in occupied territory rescue civilian's and soldier's then make his way back to safety. He spoke many language's with dialect's and was awarded a C.B.E then knighthood for his services. He was very unassuming hardly noticeable , after he died we later found out he was more than he ever let on, he was a real life James Bond, absolutely deadly when needed to be. He was wealthy at his death, we went to his house, he had 2 chair,s, a black and white tv and bed upstair,s. He never had children only his wife. People are strange.
This proved that humanity is still alive and unity of each countries in the world is coming soon. I wish that in the future countries unite and peaceful.

The current events such as mini wars , conflicts, dooms, famine, cruel, violence, catastrophe, disastrous, despair and hopeless people , happens in many countries around the world. But this is a lesson case in Thailand that , you can find love, kindness, economically life', abundance and calm. In this event, the kind experienced rescuers from many countries came to help the 13 boys, they extremely devoted themselves for helping them. You can see every one enjoyed working. People also supported and donated various dishes of food and drinks, facilities and shelters in the forest for the helpers. The helpers found friendship, fraternity , and joined the people to be the unity on the hard jobs . We can imagine that if we are kind to each other, we will have the happiness world to live in together .
how interesting it is to watch them so humble. It is what makes them real heroes!

I am not a Christian but I have heard that 'The Vatican' approves a 'Sainthood' to a soul only when it is known to have responded to the extreme sufferings of the helpless and do 'A Miracle' ! Believe me, I am sure that the thirteen helpless lives must have seen the 'Light of our Lord' in the faces of these two gentlemen after passing nine days & nights in that hell!

I'm not trying to bring down and shame some people, but what happened in tham luang cave rescue was a polar opposite of sewol ferry accident. So much things to learn and reflect of what happened during those two event.

What an honour by Thai people. He must be remembering this for the rest of his life. A real hero 👍
He wears baggy shabby clothes, he could have been more appropriately dressed for the occasion as he was standing in front of the media, the authorities and the whole world to see.
He's not a film star. He's just an ordinary person who is expert at what he does. They were given a few hours notice to travel to the other side of the world to help in a rescue mission. I doubt packing a suit was high on the agenda.
You must be a very shallow person. He was trying to get home with the minimum of fuss
