It is of OEM quality. I was hesitant with it coming from Wish, but it's not the least bit flimsy. It operates just fine. It's sturdy and all the connections matched up
I wish you could've, would've made things a lot easier. Apparently there were model years you could just do it like that. But mine is a 2018, and yes I had to remove the airbag to get to some screws holding down the trim.. I guess theoretically I didn't have to unclip the bag, but it made access so much easier
@@davidwc2675 I could've added that you could get away with removing the wheel most likely. Honestly to me it was just easier to remove the wheel to give me easier access to unscrew and then rescrew them on
@@TheGoodeDude thanks for the vid, mine just broke as well. Just to confirm I could do this just by removing the air bag and leaving the steering wheel in place if I’m willing to finagle the rear screw holes for the module?
I wanna see how you take the controls out. I need to replace my volume switch
Screws on to the trim
how is the quality of the replacement part you purchased on Wish? is it comparable to the OEM quality?

Was it the same as the Elantra going to attempt this upcoming weekend and I’ll update this comment
@@darriushollis9059 thank u so much
Genuine question, do you have to remove the airbag? It looks like you can just take the trim off without messing with the airbag.

I see taking off the airbag, but why take off the steering wheel?
