2:16 Aren’t those genes on that chromosome identical and from the same parent because they are on sister chromatids (copies of the same genetic material formed for cell division)?
I think if they were to be alleles inherited from each parent, they would have to be on both homologous chromosomes (whether they have 2 chromatids or not)
