I’m not going to cry, Maddie gets a solo every week, and the other girls don’t! I understood why Maddie cried. She felt like the odd one out since everyone had a solo but her, and Abby did that on purpose to make Maddie feel bad. I think she had full intentions of letting her do a solo from the beginning. But now, Maddie and Melissa know how people like Nia feel when they’re left out and don’t get the same opportunities. It was only fair.

It wasn't Maddie's fault it was Melissa. Melissa was the one saying that Maddie is not allow to do a solo when Maddie said she wanted to do it. So don't start pointing fingers yet and yes I understand that all the children don't have as much opportunity as Maddie but still it isn't Maddie's fault to was Melissa. I don't have any hatred torwards any girls I think they are all very talented.

She is not spoiled in any way, she earns everything she gets. I’m sick and tired of people hating on her just because she’s better than the person you like, it’s ridiculous.
It was actually the other mother's fault. They constantly yell and get mad at melissa and maddie for getting more opportunities.. So melissa said no so she could finally stop being attacked. The other moms were disgustingly jealous. Dance was not about playing fair and being fair... Its about doing what you need to do for your career. Melissa had every right to put her daughter first. I hate those other jealous old disgusting mothers.

At 1:15 Kelly had NO right to say “my kids never get solos!” to Mellisa when Maddie was crying. because her EVERY time her kids are offered solos, they either don’t want to do them, are hurt, or Kelly gets in a fight with Abby and they leave.

I like apples I think she meant like hurt feelings... Maddie (and Kenzie) have been insulted a lot in rehearsal, but they never leave, they stick it out and complete the solo - it makes them better dancers.

@@ilikeapples1824 Paige and Brooke leave as soon as they are out of their comfort zones. And the never complain about having to leave. Maddie gets yelled at as well but she takes it on board and fixes the problem so she doesn't get yelled at again. Rather than crying and going home.

I don't know how I feel about this clip. Maddie gets a solo every week so I think it is good for the other girls to have their time to shine. At the same time, she is a nine year old girl that feels left out so of course she will cry. Mixed emotions on this video.

It would have been different if some of the other kids didn't get one. Like if just Chloe and Brooke get solos then she could share the non-solo feeling with the other kids. But if you're the only one, then you're on your own in your non solo world, clearly singled out to not get one. She;s feeling how Mackenzie felt on that Christmas episode where she thought Abby gave everyone a gift except her. Gosh why are you putting everything on Maddie she fights for herself and for her future, it's not her fault that she's the one of the strongest dancers on team and that's the reason why abby always picks her. Like don't take it out on kids. She just learnd choreography in one day and won 1st place, she deserves everything she has
This is a completely different situation though because everyone had a solo except her. It was Abby’s way of punishing her and making her feel bad. That is why Maddie cried because she was the only one without a solo while everyone else had one. If it had been just a regular competition week where there are only a few select solos, I don’t really think that she would have cried, but in this instance she was the only one excluded and it hurt her feelings.

Guys! It’s the week before nationals and everybody has a solo. If everyone would have solo without Chloe Chloe and exspecially Christi would be way more upset! And Maddie was upset, she was crying her eyes out. She even said in an interview that she now knew how Nia felt, but that couldn't be true because Maddie just experienced 3/10th of what Nia felt being ignored by Abby.

So next time you want to comment your opinions actually think about events that have happened before the clip you are watching.
