Idk if anyone answered it yet, but I think the reasoning about not drinking ice-water is because if it’s hot outside, drinking something super cold will give your body shock due to extreme difference in body temperature.

Wow that’s super interesting I think :) in my country we actually do drink cold drinks sometimes although I live in a cold climate haha but also the dinner time, at least in my family, it depends. Like... in winter we have dinner super early, maybe even at 5 sometimes and in summer maybe at 8 to 10, it really depends. :)

As you know, in China, that is their perception of TW women. It could be a very unique video 😀🌟.

Yin is feminine, and yang is masculine. Yin is also cold while yang is hot. Ideally your body should be balanced. If women drink cold liquids it will be especially bad for them because they already have more Yin. Drinking hot things is seen as healthier in general in Chinese medicine so there isn't the same concern with men getting too much Yang. This is where the belief that women shouldn't drink ice water comes from.

I got used to drinking water without ice or some other drinks without ice when I was studying in Spain. It's said to be bad for your heart...and if you eat greasy or oily food and drink ice cold drinks, the fat will solidify in your stomach and not wash down. 🤷‍♂️ Hot pot is delicious, even though I hate sweating. I just eat 刨冰 or cold fruit after... or drink beer. 🤣🤣
