I don't think I have enjoyed a recap as much as this one. I was constantly asking myself, how does she knit so fast? You have a talent for pairing beautiful yarn and patterns that compliment you perfectly. Can't wait to see all of 2024 projects develop. Best wishes-Margaret of My Wonderful Knitting Life podcast.
Phew that is a lot of knitting. I don't remember you knitting the last top Turquoise one. The dresses are amazing and you really have the ideal figure for wearing dresses. What to knit mindfully....❤😊
Fantastic recap Tash. I've watched all your podcasts and I'm amazed by how many items you've finished when you put them all together. All your garments look lovely on you.
Wow😊 An amazing knitting output in 1 year! You've inspired me to sit down and review my 2023 knits sometime soon...once grandsons' visits end and tgey return to school.
Thank you so much Joanna. I havent knit sleeveless tops in quite a while but I am quite enjoying the ones I have found lately and am actually wearing them which is nice. :)
Wow! You are my hero! I have no idea how you manage to knit so many items, but I think your color/pattern/yarns combinations are spot on. You have made all my favorite patterns in one year! And you look so beautiful in them all. You have ALMOST inspired me to quit eating chocolate so I can wear a knit dress.
Such a fabulous roundup of the past 12 months’ projects. Beautiful makes with such an eye for yarn and pattern matching, great job👏. Looking forward to seeing what 2024 brings x
What a wonderful year of knitting you have had, Tash. Lovely to review and analyze everything . Knitting is a grounding, creative, meditative, and learning process for a lot of us and I'm happy to prioritize it. Never worry about being boring....that's impossible! Looking forward to seeing you and Bec together.
This was so lovely Tash! I have been enjoying your channel so much, you are so talented in knitting, in choosing lovely patterns and pairing them with yarn choices and colors. Looking forward to your next knits!
I love your recap of all your projects. Like you, I love to knit whenever possible. My husband does the driving so I always have a small project, hat, socks or scarves to work on. I cannot just sit and watch TV so sweaters are done during that time. I always have something to knit with me for appointments. I never mind if the doctor is running late. 😊 Looking forward to 2024 with you. ❤
Another great episode - you are definitely the podcast I wait for and enjoy the most every week ! Dont over think your segment about plans!!!! It’s such a great reflection of all of all knitters who have so many plans and what has caught our fancy whizzing round in our heads. It’s not boring at all to revisit plans that are on the back burner frequently- it’s a knitter’s life ! What you do is fab - keep doing you ! X
Loved all your makes ❤❤❤I am almost caught up with all your previous podcasts. I’ve enjoyed them all. So glad I found your podcast in December 2023. Thank you for all the tutorials too.
So many beautiful projects in one year! I can't wait to follow along in 2024. I'm so happy I found your channel - it's a knitter's dream! Thank you so much for sharing your talents - I can see you're a natural teacher and we knitters benefit/learn so much from your enjoyable presentation and gorgeous content. Cheers from the west coast of Canada!
Your recap is the only one i will watch because your podcast is delightful. Thank you for making every episode a teaching moment. Sending you blessings and love from NYC!
Aw - thank you so much. I really appreciate your lovely and kind comments. Blessings back to you in NYC. I hope i can get there some time soon. I miss it very much. x
Loved your podcast...I am a big ranunculus fan,am knitting my 2nd one... also have got dotted rays shawl on my list Lots of lovely inspiration from your beautiful knits thank you x
Your videos are my favorite! Excited to see what 2024 brings for knit projects for you! I have so many thoughts to share. For the socks, with the yarn you don't have enough. The colors look gorgeous together. Could you do like a faded sock? Start with the pink or charcoal and then fade into the speckle and finish the sock with the other tonal? I think that would be fun and different than what you have previously made. The tank top that was green that you were short on yarn for... is absolutely gorgeous on you. For the mock neck tank... do you have a funky necklace or something chunky that could go on top as an accessory? And if you use it in spring/fall and add maybe a beige cardigan you could really pull an outfit together. The vest... tweed yarn I think is cute but since you have a tweed vest, I vote for the second option. More yarn unfortunately, but I think you would feel like you aren't repeating a project. Cheers Tash! Happy new year
Thank you so much for all your input and encouragement. You have so many good ideas. I love the idea of playing with the yarn for the socks but then they probably cant be my walking project. Still - i could do a hat or something else on my walks. I like your ideas with the mini mock neck tank to play around with the styling. That can definitely make a difference with wearability. Thanks again for taking the time to leave such thoughtful comments. Happy New Year! xx
I love your showcase for the year. Here the United States, the color of the year 2024 is peach fuzz, you have plenty. You are ahead of game. You work is stunning
Hi, really enjoyed the recap, I’ve watched your channel from the beginning also I’ve found very useful your helpful tips. Likewise with another comment, I too end up buying some of your recommendations! It is a Sunday afternoon l’m knitting the ‘Snowfall sweater scarf’ by knitatude, listening to you a perfect afternoon
Thank you so much Annette. I am glad the video was inspirational. And the time to knit a pattern doesnt matter - as long as you are enjoying the process. :)
Thank you for that info Sheila. I am leaning towards casting it on. It looks like a great pattern and it would be quite different to my Boardwalk in Rowan Felted Tweed which is much more fitted. :)
Love looking at the whole year in one go. It’s great even if I’ve seen them in the previous episodes. You certainly knit fast and I love all your choices. I’m going to include a few more of these summer tees and tops in my own list this year. I need more of them in my wardrobe. 💚
I just love your podcasts, I feel like we’re friends😊I made 2 musselburgh hats gave them for gifts and now down in Canada we’ve had - 46 below with wind the last 3 days. Should have kept one lol. Thanks for sharing love all your makes.❤
Thank you so much Cheryl. I am so glad you feel so comfortable with me. That makes me really happy. Definitely sounds like you could do with your own Musselburgh!!
Love watching your videos in the depth of winter here in the UK, a little Sydney sunshine would be very welcome. Just a thought about the lovely hats which seem to fly off your needles. In the summer 2022 one off my daughters developed breast cancer and had several months of extremely crueling chemotherapy and although we had a very hot summer she wore a knitted hat all off the time. This was partly due to the cruel way people stared at her when she went out, no hair, eyelashes or eyebrows but also she became so thin and felt cold all of the time. so just a thought that if you have an excess of hats your local hospital's chemo department will surely be able to find a greatful recipient.
Thank you for your lovely comments. I love your suggestion of donating to the chemo department of a hospital. I am so sorry your daughter went through that and suffered so much. I hope she is cancer free now and has recovered. xx
I really enjoyed your video, Tash! You’ve made so many incredible items. I think we have the same attitude about what is excessive. I would be *excessively* anxious if I didn’t have knitting in my life to keep me grounded. One of my goals this year is to make a hat a month to donate/gift.
Lovely episode. I totally enjoy your podcasts. Thanks so much for your time and energy creating this community space. Just a suggestion for your many hats- Why not auction off the musselburghs you don’t want to keep? Then donate the proceeds to your favourite charity. I’d bid on one or two. I Can’t believe how much you’ve knit. You’ve inspired me very much in 2023 and I’ve knit the musselburgh (I am also addicted to knitting it but I live in Canada so I wear toques constantly) , the ranunculus (made two) and I want to try the sorrel, the ankler, and the birds of a feather shawl for 2024. Cheers from -37degrees Celsius Canada, not counting wind chill. Lots of knitting time during the prairies deep freeze happening right now.
Thank you so much. You definitely need warm beanies in that kind of weather. I am not so good with admin side of things so i think i will donate the beanies to my local shelter this winter. :)
I have so enjoyed your podcast. You have such a great eye for color and your enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you for your help with the Field Sweater (It is a fun sweater but haven't finished mine). I look forward to seeing this year's project take shape.
Wow so many knits in 12 months well done. For the little singlet you can’t wear a bra with if you made another could you knit a small extra section inside to cover that area maybe? You could use your excess hats as give aways in school or on here????? Thanks for another great episode, so much inspiration ❤
Thank you Dina. I can definitely do one where I block something. I have one about blocking in general (ruclips.net/video/xTcD9o_mR0M/видео.htmlsi=FqukgTLOOa8-lq8I) but not one where I have video'd myself actually blocking it.

Such beautiful makes! I must say that dark purple sweater tee looks really good on you, I know you don’t care much for the actual yarn, but I think you should make something else in that color! Xoxo
Thank you so much. I actually like the yarn. It is lovely and soft. It just doesnt really show the Ranunculus stitch pattern very well. Thank you for the lovely comment. :)
