They're pretty, but they are first and foremost smart, talented, honest and hard workers. I'm really interested to see what all this collaboration with other people and different working methods will look like on the new album. I think they might be moving away from the musical direction I hoped they were going to, but the most important thing is that they are happy with what they are doing. i think it great that they want to work with other artists. But they don't need max martin to write a global hit. They already have that talent just within the four of them!

@@silviamarelli7143 l'ultima canzone cresce ascolto dopo ascolto. Per certi versi mi ricorda un po' "Morirò da re" che mi piace molto. Adesso non mi dispiace affatto, come apprezzo "Gasoline" che abbiamo sentito intera soltanto live. Quella che ho amato meno è "Mammamia".
Sono curiosissima di vedere cosa conterrà il nuovo album e se saranno godibili le nuove inflenze californiane che hanno avuto.
They can't do bad songs! Even if Max Martin produced them in too popish style they still can do it live in their own style. For example studio version of supermodel is so average, but when they played it live at Jimmy Fallon show it sounded so good in their own style.

While it's totally understandable that they want to go global, what a petty is it to see that they have outsourced their stellar song writing skills to a soulless song-factory dude. I hope they will go back to writing via jamming, their songs were authentic, inimitable. "Supermodel" is mediocre.
I’m gonna ruin your world. But dynamite by tao cruiz was written by this soulless song factory. Now I do agree I think you should have talent, and try to sing the song, but what if you can’t sing the song and you need to get another singer on the track as they sing what then? Are they frauds because they don’t play all the instruments? No! You try writing a song and then let’s see why you come up with. It’s easy to talk the talk, but is it easy to walk the walk? No! Max Martin is a composer! He wrote California girls and the majority of Katy Perry’s album. That takes skill! You try it out! Sure there are plenty of songwriters that wrote their own songs, but does collabbing in songwriting have to be a bad thing?
Sorry, not interested. There are better groups. I wish them luck. I'm happy that they met the right persons/companies etc to really help them/promote them.
