ഏതൊക്കെ രീതിയിൽ വിടുപണിതാലും Slope Roof ആക്കി പണിയുന്ന വിടുകളിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും ചൂട് കുറയുന്നത് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്. എത്ര flat root structure ആണേലുംഎത്ര Water & Heat proof ചെയ്താലും white Cement അടിച്ചാലും ഒരു കാര്യവുമില്ല..... ആ flat roofൻ്റെ മുകളിൽ Truss work ചെയ്യുന്നതിൻ്റെ അത്രത്തോളം ചൂട് കുറക്കാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല. അതിലുപരി ദിർഖ കാലത്തേക്ക് Mainta nance ഉം കുറവാണ്, ...
കേരളത്തിൻ്റെ കാലാവസ്ഥയിൽ ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യം flat Roof construction നടത്തി രണ്ടാം നിലയുടെ മുകളിൽ Truss work ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് cladding Tiles or Shingles വിരിക്കുക. പുറമേനിന്നുള്ള എലിവേഷൻ നോക്കിയാൽ അതൊരു flat roofൽ പണിത വിടാണ് എന്ന് തോന്നാത്ത വിധത്തിൽ എലിവേഷൻ ഡിസൈൻ ചെയ്യുക .... അത്തരം വിടുകളിൽ 100 % ചൂട് കുറയുന്നത് അനുഭവപ്പെടാം .....

Maintanance ഉം Leakage problems ഉം Heat problems ഉം എല്ലാം കുറക്കാം .... ആ ഭാഗത്ത് Water Tank കളും Preasure Pumb ഉം Safe ആയി വെക്കാം.. ആ സ്ഥലം ഉപയോഗപ്രധമാക്കി എടുക്കാം.... ഇനി Solar water heater ഉം Solar Panels ഉം വെക്കണമെങ്കിൽ ആ Truss Roofstructure ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴേ അതിനായി plan ചെയ്തു ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കിൽ അതും ആ Roof Structure ൻ്റെ ഭാഗമാക്കി മാറ്റാം....
അപ്പോൾ Roof ൻ്റെ കുറെ Area Solar panels കൊണ്ട് Cover ചെയ്യിക്കാം. വെള്ളംലിക്കാ കാത്ത തരത്തിൽ രണ്ടു സോളാർ പാനലുകൾക്കിടയിൽ Seal ചെയ്തു ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്.

പല വീടുകളും architects ന്റെ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളാണ്. കാണാൻ കൊള്ളാം പക്ഷെ വാസയോഗ്യമല്ല.

Mr. Larry becker's rat hole design is really a heat resistant and cost effective method. But his method of using tiles inside roof concrete is not upto the mark.

Kerala vasthu gives all these. South n west will be always warmer than north side, northeast will be the coolest.
This is not Vastu. Vastu consider all these factors.

This has an effect for sure. But construction cost will be too high.
Studies show that gypsum plastering causes cancer. It's best to avoid gypsum plastering because it may cause long-term health problems. Our family doctor had similar concerns.
