Cracking video Dan! I've fallen in love with my Manticore! The Depth audio profile is my preferred setting at the moment. The way it just grabs a signal is brilliant! Gaz.
I can't remember if I commented on your previous video but I got my first metal detector last weekend and I was out on Monday and to my surprise the very first signal I dug up was a coin ok only a modern 5p but it was very encouraging and I only spent about 90 minutes out dug up 4 more coins a few tin cans and I found gold (Benson and hedges ) I didn't mind it's like fishing you never know what you'll get.
I really want to get into metal detecting and have a strong interest for history but I'm unsure about some things. I'd be insanely happy to find Roman coins but I'm still researching things so i don't break some law I'm unaware of or upset someone for being on their property haha
I was there on Sunday got cracking couple hammereds I'll be uploading video tomorrow or Wednesday, also nice gold Roman found the Sunday I was there love your videos
You seem to move quite fast do you ignore certain signals? If my detector picks up iron I'll only dig if it's shallow, ain't got a pin pointer yet so it's a pain in the ass holding handfuls of dirt infront of the detector until I find whatever was giving the signal.
It's probably just the falsing sounds that I'm walking away from. After putting 100s of hours into a machine, you really get to know the sounds it makes, so you know what's good and what's bad 👍
Another cracking video Dan. A great range of finds for all ur hard work👍.
Nice to see the work paid off !! A hammered makes the day , week , month , year ❤
What I can't get over is how small those Roman coins are.
Hey Dan, The last dig in Banningham was when we met 😃a day i will never forget 🤣🤣 Great video as always 😘xx
Awww, yes it was 😊. I'll never forget it either, even though we found bugger all lol 😆
