🇬🇷PARGA - THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN MAINLAND GREECE?! SO PRETTY! DAY 1 - OCTOBER '22

- 🇬🇷WE STAYED FOR ONE WEEK AT THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER 2022 AND STAYED AT THE REZI HOTEL - HERE'S WHAT WE GOT UP TO IN OUR TRAVEL DIARIES....🇬🇷
Day 1 - Our fist day of exploring this really pretty greek/venetian style harbour town. We were blown away at how beautiful it is, we walked up to the castle up through the older part of town - lots of steps but there were easier ways to get there if steep puts you off. I could have stayed here all day it was really peaceful and pretty. Jus a shame the castle cafe had closed down. We walked all over Parga town and later went swimming in Piso Krioneri beach which is only a 2 minute walk away from out hotel - Hotel Rezi. Later that evening, we walked into the harbour for a meal.
We flew from Gatwick to Preveza with TUI for 1 week starting from the 2nd of October 2022. We stayed at the Rezi Hotel which is situated in Parga town - we booked two rooms. We absolutely loved this hotel, very simple but clean, great breakfast, great bar and pool PLUS...only a few minutes walk to the nearest beach Piso Krioneri Beach and just a few more minutes walk to the main town beach and harbour.
Our first day here blew us away with it's beauty, the town has a gorgeous mix of old style geek and Venetian styling and even reminded me of Positano in Italy! The local people were super friendly and the weather was amazing all week we were there (we were lucky as October can be hit or miss).
Throughout the week, we went on two land train trips, a day trip to Meteora, a day trip to Acheron River, we walked to the castle a few times and over to Valtos beach so we found plenty to do. Ohh and we went swimming in the sea many times and even spotted an octopus on our last night beneath us!!

Such a lovely video thank you! We've been to Parga about 8 times including for our honeymoon in 2018. It's our favourite place. We're due to go again later in the year and this video is making us so excited!! So were you happy with the October weather? Was it warm the whole time you were there? So glad you all enjoyed it so much, it was never in doubt 🇬🇷😘❤️ If you go again, we would recommend a boat trip on Captain Hooks boat to Paxos and Anti-paxos, hiring a boat your self and tootling around for a few hours, and also a drink or ten in the Captains bar with the Captain Leo ❤🇬🇷🎉
Aw how lovely! Thank you for watching ☺️ yes weather was perfect! Mid 20’s all week and the water really nice too. We would go in October again. We normally go on boat trips but I think as it was October there were no regular trips from what I could gather. But, I want to go back again one day and will definitely pop over to Paxos and I’ve heard great things about the Captains bar too!! Half way through these vlogs, I set up a separate travel channel called diaryofatravelgeek and I have the full 7 days in Parga on there now as-well as other islands. I don't mind this music, because it is Greek. It's the horrible loud "Modern" music that wrecks every cafe visit to Parga now. We have been about six times, but we won't go now. Unless we get good ear plugs.
Ah I don’t blame you although saying that we didn’t notice too much loud music and most nights there was a band playing live music on the harbour front which was nice but, we went in October so might be different another time of the year
