Watched from home but ngl, this made me feel like I was there. You captured the electricity of the atmosphere. Especially love the shots and sounds of the supporters. Brianna is such a sweetheart too! Finally, love the fact that you make it dynamic, so we get all aspects, and you update it from before, during and after the whole thing. Watch ee international coach too na! Big ups to you! Job well done as usual.
Jah know, that last interview with the young one...Issa view of how Champs sets the pace for the future generations...Inspiring those to come. Girl wah go Hydel already, yes man.
You are a track and field Blogger , you are at Champs you should at least know the history of your school. Mannings have never won Boys Champs. Mannings three times 1965, 1966 and 1969. Mannings had some good teams in the late 1990s which finished 4th about 3 or 4 times. Running a track programme is difficult not all schools has the organisation and tenacity to maintain. There are schools that do focus on academics and track and field. I believe St Jago has had a good boys and girls track programme for over 40 years while maintaining academics.
You can rewatch the video, I never said Manning’s won BOYS champs. My exact words were “back in the days Manning’s won some champs.” That’s what I said. Didn’t say anything about Boys or Girls champs. And yes I do know that running a track Programme is difficult and just as you said schools like St. Jago have a great all rounded scholastic experience. Hence why I still share the opinion that if they can do it Manning’s can as well. St. Jago even now when not winning champs, they are still competitive, finishing in the top 10 consistently. Manning’s struggles to even get a point nowadays. A school like Manning’s in a parish with absolutely no competition in terms of stature, we should be doing better. Manning’s is undoubtedly the capital school of Westmoreland, they have that to their advantage and can utilize to bring talent from across the parish into the programme, but they don’t.
@@cydonbowen they dont cause it is not easy. it takes man power , money and commitment. To run just one track programme is difficult muchless fi run two a dem. Yes Mannings is the big brand name in Westmoreland but they need more than just a name to sustain the programme
