I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Brittany Murphy's death! My prayers go out to her family, friends, and her fans. R.I.P. Brittany! You'll be missed!
Aaaah, very interesting about the whole SBTB thing with Miss Bliss. I personally would have been put to ease regarding what happened to the other two children had the series simply said something to the effect of, "...they went to live with their father," instead of just spontaneously making them disappear.
I thought The Torkelson's was a better name for the show than Almost Home. The original theme song was better too, & 2 of the children are missing. Even though they were kinda bratty the original full cast was better. I miss border Hodges too
thtktgrl Those missing kids were never found. It happens sometimes...a mother cannot endure the burden and has to 'free herself'. (I learned this from "Monster's Ball")
+thtktgrl They had to change the name when the series was revamped because it wasn't just about the Torkelsons anymore..but I agree, the first season had lots of charm and richness. NBC should have stuck with the original format for a while longer.
