I was at my aunts job (nursery home) and this old man thought I was his granddaughter. He was so happy too see me! He hugged me so tight and also cried. My aunt told me that he had Alzheimer's so I just followed along with him. It made him happy.

once, I was walking in a huge mall and a worker of some store waved at me and said "Hey! (I forgot the name they used), thanks for letting me use this screwdriver! Without you the shelves would've fallen over!" and me, being the awkwardly social person, took the screwdriver and was like "uh.. yeah! You're welcome". And that was the day I got a free screwdriver from the mall.
I was standing behind one of my friends and put a finger in front of her as if to shush her. She thought I was here sister so she licked my finger.....

I was mistook for someone else at my school with the same name. I was with my dad at a father-child breakfast at my school, and they were passing out these awards to the dads. They had the student's name on the back to determine who to give each one to. Multiple people tried to give my dad the award that was supposed to go to the parent of another student that had the same name as me.

Jokey Gaming some of the bigger sketches like RUclips Genius got too expensive to make and even then, some of these got expensive, too. I think that was one reason but I don't know the rest

I work at a grocery store and nine out of ten times (or probably more) I'm working in the customer service desk. One day, I had a customer come up to me with a legitimate problem and as she was explaining it to me, she looked at me and stopped in her tracks and started scolding me for not telling her I'd moved close by, calling me her niece. When I could do nothing but let out a nervous chuckle, she adjusted her glasses and realized I was, in fact, not her niece. She then apologized...multiple times for calling me [insert niece's name here]. The following week, she brought a picture of her niece into the store just to show me how much I resembled her... gotta say, I didn't really see it! At least the woman's nice.

I wasnt mistaken by someone else, I was called by the wrong name. It happens when you have 6 siblings.

My dad called me my sister's name and then my brother's name, and finally my name.

So I was riding my bike around the neighborhood and some kid calls out to me and goes, "Hey, Caden, wanna come and hang out?" My name isn't Caden. I tried not to laugh at him. He looked about 7 or 8 years old, which I was much older than. I wondered why he'd hang out with someone in MY peer group and not his, but I played along and said "Sorry, man, I can't today!" Long story short, he thought I was this Caden. Riding my bike down a slightly sloped road, I was going to fast and had to hit the brakes to prevent myself from running into the side of a car that had stopped at the stop sign like a proper human. I skinned up both knees and had gravel stuck in both hands due to being fowardly propelled onto the ground. I pretended to be someone else, and apparently Karma doesn't like that. At least I didn't get run over.
Right as Matt said "why is my phone sticky" I dripped some PBJ on the device. We are brothers.

I used to leave school alone and walk to my music class. One day as i was exiting school, a guy shouted by the window of his car: "hey John! come here boy". I looked, and continued walking. To my surprise he then proceeded to follow me in car across 3 blocks and several red lights, getting angrier and angrier.. When i was reaching my music school, i saw him pull over violently amidst traffic, get out, run to me, and then: "Oh... Oh sorry.. You're not john.. damn.. sorry kid, so sorry.." ....... lol

Someone mistook me as someone else when I was at track practice.
The lady in the car shouted: "GO DASHUANA!" My friend and I looked at her with a confused face. She told me that she thought I was someone else and that she was sorry. I said that it was ok and kept running.
Well, something like that did happen to me, although it scared the hell out of me. I was shopping at a grocery store when suddenly, someone yelled "I got you!". I was grabbed from behind and literally spun round, causing me to drop my basket. The guy who grabbed me was a large security guard, and I was so terrified that I let out a scream. The manager was called, and the security guard kept a firm hold on me while I had no idea what was going on.
Turns out, I was wearing a hoodie (with the hood up) that looked similar to the one that was worn by someone else who was caught trying to sneak things into their hoodie. I did get let go (eventually) but bloody hell, I was scared shitless. Made sure to take off the hood of my hoodie when I went shopping in the future.
