On a different video with the same orchestra it's labeled as "Orchestra Les Talents Neuchâtelois" (which I think basically means The New Castle Talents Orchestra or something like that). I can't find any info about them online, though, so I think it may possibly be a temporary orchestra that was brought together just for this performance.
Is very hard to explain because sometimes the differences are very subtle. In our continent, our music mixed our three roots: ordinary people (Aztecs, mayans, incas, etc), with the African root and European; to emerge a completely new music. The danzon became from the african percusive music, with a very strong basis of country dance, named in Spain: contradanza. The danzon is an spectacular music conceived the create a very rhythmic and elegant collective dance with some remembrance to the country dance. The danzon had been consolidated specially in México until the last years of the 19th century, where it receives the influence of our percussive prehispanic music. The rumba has been created also in Cuba, but it has more African Influence with more percussions, and less influence of European Rhythmic. We can emphasize that the Rumba receives and incorporate a wide amount of diverse influences, leaving us one of the more eclectic music to dance. Now the rumba has so many derivations from Salsa to many some other less known sort of music. If you want to be in touch with, it could better to me if you can write in Spanish, French or Italian, because I express myself better in those Roman Languages, but if it is not possible we can use the English. raulalefcero@gmail.com
