Guys, I think I figured out Paladin's identity! It is having cards that would be good in a specific archetype and waiting until they rotate before making the support for those cards.
Ouch. So that's why my Dragon Paladin only made sense in wild

Fun fact: king rastakan is a prelate in wow, which is basically a paladin. And yet he’s a shaman hero in hearthstone

Well prelate is for the loas, which are quite shamanly, but I agree, prelate and rastakan not being in the same class is quite strange
@@ratatosk2628 while Sunwalkers are druids in plate, Loa priests are actually already a thing, so I don’t think Prelates are shaman in plate
I was really hoping that pogo hopper game would have gone long, I would have loved to see both decks at their strongests, watching 100/100 rabbits swinging into 100/100 prelates each turn

I wouldn’t call it meta warping, but rather meta creating.
You can play decks without Polkelt, but Polkelt enables decks to exist.
-He makes some legendary cards accessible with another mean.
Also in some decks he makes a playbook possible.
I just love Polkelt: He is not overpowered at all, can be easily countered by shuffling effects and still creates a completely different gamestyle.

one of my other favorite things to do with this was run Da Undatakah to learn the prelate shuffle deathrattle. then the 7 drop deathrattle recruit an 8 cost minion. since any shuffled undatakahs learned the deathrattles as part of there battlecry so the tutored ones are exact copies as per the prelates mechanics. was fun. even in standard for a bit.
Protip:
Put strong against / weak against decks in your intro.

Turtle mage with educated elek and time warp so you can then use minions that buff spell damage to finish with raz for otk-level damage?
Or discount maly with friz and emperor alongside the copy minion effects, then potion of illusion to get 1-cost copies back in hand, then see if the opponent responds to the malygos on the board, and fill in with the copies to bring raz to 30 damage
William Swiss turtle mage doesn’t work anymore since it casts the spell from deck. It’s still technically possible, but it’s extreeemley difficult.

Please nerf it in every way possible, it is meta in the Arena, meta in Wild, meta in Standard, it dominates everywhere. They have a hand full of answers and they drag out every game if possible. 15-45 minutes is the average priest match.
An interaction that you may not know chat:
After the polkelt, any interaction with your deck(prelate dying, plot twist, etc) will reset your deck and negate the polkelt
No, only when the card says "shuffle", sphere and sightless watcher doesn't rearrange the whole deck
Except sphere of sapience I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@imchipjames Sphere doesnt "shuffle", so yes, it doesnt break polkelt. Sphere specifically states to put the card to the BOTTOM of your deck, no shuffling involved.

Reminds me of the good old "I hate Hunter because of the Neutral card Leeroy Jenkins".
To be fair, there's a lot of annoying stuff Priest can do.
Especially against this deck (Silencing Prelates/buffed minions, stealing minions buffed with Val'anyr, using Mindrender to scuff your hand, using Soul Mirror to copy your combo)
The extra lenience Priest decks have for adding in tech cards, such Stickyfingers just adds to the amount of annoying BS they can do.
"Neutral card" doesnt mean "it fits into all class' decks".
Leeroy was frustrating in hunter decks because hunters have the tools to be very aggressive.
Stickyfinger is frustrating in priest decks because they have the tools to be overly greedy, slow, and run awkward tech cards and still somehow get away with it.
Looks like you guys aren't very fond of Priests.
Personally I love the fact that horrible cards such as Stickyfinger still see some play in competetive decks,
as opposed to never seeing play at all.

OR Priests in general are the reason why Roffle is upset here (which I do not suspect because why even mention the Stickyfinger then), in which case we're not talking about Neutral cards at all rendering this whole discussion moot.
Also I would like to clarify that my original comment was for 90% meant as a funny joke and only 10% seriousness, so I'd rather not discuss this for too much longer.
