    We do not have a viable replacement. Cam has the leverage imo. We let him play out this year and wash our hands of it next offseason.

      Considering our draft this year
      Steelers next draft should be mainly defense.
      Draft WR next year.
      Draft DL x2 CB safety
      We already have benton. Lee is raw player. Ogunjobi has been disappeared. I can see heyward and ogunjobi gone.

    3-4 DT’s never get the credit they deserve.

      Are we still 3-4?
      I kinda remember the played a bunch of nickel (or dime? Bunches of dbs) past season or so.
      I dunno

    I know he said he won’t take a pay cut, so I think they’ll just restructure his contract.

    I love cam man I think he's productive has lowered a little bit but not enough to cut him or just let him walk

  • @extendedp1
    @extendedp1 21 день назад +1

    I love Cam but he want’s an extension, he should be happy to play out his final year if the Steelers let him do it. Unless an extension is cheaper for the team and gives them an out if Cam doesn’t return to form.

    Hes still top 5 or 10 but this is def his last year at least here in Pitt, they won't pay him what he wants the writing is already on the wall for that.

    Benton is going to make up the slack if Cam takes a step back. I'd worry more about okenjoby. Hurt is whole time with the Steelers.

    Make last 2 years voidable.
