Um... I think you're a little bit off there. Alice doesn't commit suicide or come back to life or encounter any real magical hourglass or anything. The whole game is her coming to terms with the loss of her brother while in a coma after the accident. The Forgotten Hourglass content is her retreading the memories of her coma dream when she's older. That's all there is to it man.
This could've been accurate if only the game Cytus II didn't prove this theory wrong. Cytus II's DLC: Alice (which is another game Rayark made) is a manipulated version of the deemo story Alice has forgotten everything, even her own name for quite a while. Meaning, that truck that gave her a coma, also made her lose her memories. She is comfortable around deemo because of that feeling or knowing, but she can't remember why. The one thing she knows is she has fallen from that window from the sky and wanted to return. The more they played the piano, the more the tree grew. The more it grew, the more she remembered things. At the final stretch of return, all her memories snapped making her remember her brother Hans. As for hour glass terms of the story it has yet to be quite explained clearly in their games; however, one theory was that the hour glass was of her returning as the Masked Lady/Celia as so explained of this animated version of the story: ruclips.net/video/D5Q0T111nj8/видео.html I'm sure once the Deemo Movie Comes out, we'll all fully understand the story. Other than that, I will have to hand it to you, you did a nice job making this video. 👍
