Fantastic machines with beautiful artwork. I used to play them regularly in Australia when i was a teenager during the 70s and 80s until they were banned. The number of different features available were amazing and they took quite a bit of skill to play. Last played one in Las Vegas at the pinball hall of fame.
So wonderful to hear that you actually played Bingo Pinball Machines and love them too. Reading comments here on my channel is one of my favorite things to do. It so cool to hear about other peoples stories with these wonderful works of art etc. Thanks again for sharing your stories. Stop again anytime and chat.
Vic, beautiful machine. In 1972 my favourite was Golden Gate. As I said before I’m in the UK, I had a local venue that played for higher value coins, to give you some idea a 300 replay win was a weeks wages. Consequently it wasn’t unusual to see guys put their weeks wage in the machine in 2 hours. But if you got a win in that gold section you were a king.
Gary, I know exactly what your talking about. As a young teenager i too watch and lurk a lot around the bingo games while grown ups would play the games and like you said, i seen many weeks pay go into the coin slot and the player would end up asking for an "IOU" which meant you ask the store owner for a loan for more coins at that moment, until the next week when you would get paid again and could pay them back. I have fond memories when i played the bingo from 1969 through and into the 1990"s on route.
When I mention about the 5 all time bingo pinball machines I was referring to Bally’s Magic Screen games, which most of the bingo collectors world wide want to have in their collection. They are Golden Gate, Silver Sails (which are identical games with a different theme), Bikini ( which I owned in the past), Lido and one other bingo that I can’t think of at the moment. These Magic Screen games have the most features Bally could jam into one machine. If you don’t have the book written by Jeffery Lawton called Ball Bingo Pinball Machines, then I suggest you buy one . In this book you can read about every bingo machine Bally manufactured. It’s a very educating experience. You can buy the book on EBay for around $35. I can probably do a video on the top 5 bingo machines which could be broken up in a series of videos but buying the book is a better idea because you will get the entire learning experience of every Bingo ever made and will be able to judge for yourself what the top 5 best bingos would be.
First thing, make sure the game is perfectly level and then i would check the pendulum tilt bob located in the lower cabinet and should be on the right side, if it's not there, it's on the left side. Make sure the pendulum tilt bob weight is sitting dead center in the ring and isn't touching the ring. Go into the back of the head and open the door and locate the anti-cheat relay which should be in a 4 or 5 bank of relays on the righthand side on or towards the lightboard, not on the back door. You will see the start relay in the bank of 4 or 5 relays along with the anti-cheat relay. Check all switches for proper operation manually with the game off on the anti-cheat relay. If you didn't fix the tilt issue with the above trouble-shooting...turn the game back on and manually press the start relay locate in the bank of 4 or 5 replays to see if you can get the game to start back up and operate again. If you are still having the tilt issue you are going to have to find the tilt switches which there may be one on the front door and one located in the head and check them for normal positions and or clean the switches contacts. Since i no longer own my Silver Sails, i am trying to help you out with my memory in my head from when i had the game in my collection.

@@viccamppinball good info. I’ll get a copy! Thank you.
Very informative video! We just got a silver sails game, played it for an hour and went into tilt, any ideas on how to reset it? Thanks.
