Wow this list is actually closer to a list I got top 4 in an ots with. Glad to see fire king doing well, it’s gotta be one of the most unexplored versions of snake eye. I played 2 arvata when i was doing it because it helped play around nib and helped in the grind. It was especially good if you opened it + fire + witch or something because you always guaranteed to play around 1 monster hand trap. I also agree with less handtraps. Personally I believe fire king is more gas version since the engine, unlike pure, does break boards, so you don’t need as many handtraps.

Jonah, can you do a combo tutorial with this build? How do you play when you open Diabellstar + Ash? I usually pop kirin to special back ponix for an extra body and id like to see how you get to your end board/play around nib after destroying barong
End board would probably be 2 material apollousa + amblowhale + ponix and kirin in hand. That's 8 interuptions if layered correctly.

1. NS Ash and search poplar
2. SS poplar and search temple
3. Activate temple and place flamberge in ST zone.
4. Use ash effect sending temple to SS oak.
5. Use oak to SS ash from grave.
6. Summon diabellstar using poplar for cost and place poplar into ST zone. Set OSS with diabellstar
7. Link summon I:P with oak and ash then link summon selene with I:P and diabellstar. There should be 3 spells now, flamberge and poplar in ST zone and temple in grave.
8. Use selene to SS diabellstar then link summon apollousa.
9. Use OSS sending flamberge from ST zone to SS ponix. Flamberge CL1 to summon ash and oak, CL2 ponix to add sanctuary -> FK island.
10. FK island effect to pop ponix to search garunix. SS garunix via own effect and pop barong.
11. Link summon promethean princess using ash, oak, and garunix. SS any fire (except ponix or barong) with princess and link summon amblowhale.
12. Opponent standby phase -> resolve ponix to add back and barong to search kirin
Checks Nib up until you summon apollousa
