After some research, I now understand why the song sounds strangely similar to early Soutaisei Riron songs. The composer was the OG bassist of the band. The melody, progression, and the wordplay was all total STSR material. I love it.
Fun fact: The verse "Saigo da ron desho" translated as "Ron is the last tile", "Ron" (栄) is a win in the game Mahjong using an opponent's discarded tile. There are couple of other references to Mahjong, most especially in the verse "See no pon chii kan owannai". "Pon" (ポン) and "Chi" (チー) are both moves involved in the game.
She also say's "wo ai ni" which is Chinese for "I love you". I just think it's interesting for her to bring up something Chinese (pon chi kan....wo ai ni). And just in case anyone wants to know. I love you in Japanese is "ai shiteiru" or "daisuki".
