- A Ride up to the Lake District from Coventry on a lovely sunny day. A spectacular ride up the Wrynose pass and Hardknott pass with some stunning views in 4k. I have only just started recording my trips so the audio isn't perfect and I still need to speak more :)
Please like and subscribe to watch my videos improve while I ride to some amazing places on my fantastic BMW GS1250 Adventure.
Great video. I recently go myself a GSA 1250 Exclusive... 7 days touring Scotland. What a bike what a tour. Great video.... makes me want to go again.
Realy wonderfull video, great scenery - have to get there!
Many thanks! It really is stunning up there. Really wild and off grid. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

Very very nice sir. You’ve come through for us all once again !!!
Many thanks
Great video, no stupid music. Thank you. Just you, the engine (only music you need), the wind, and me watching. Just subscribed. Keep it up. Ride safe
Thanks for the comment 🤟🏻
I did use music on some earlier vids but now I’ve started leaving it out and speaking instead. Much better! Thanks for subscribing :) 👍
Absolutely fabulous rode out just wondering what part of the lake district was it please
Wow great roads and scenery. Funny that it appears almost arid in some areas. Nice GS! Subscribed!
Hi Dave,
Yes it gets very bleak in some places. It's a very beautiful place to ride.
Thanks for watching, subscribing and thanks for taking the time to comment :)

Must of been one heck of a lot of work building those rock fences, amazing.
Your right.. And they go for miles and miles.
Absolutely stunning area thank is you had nice wet for it 👍👍
Yes it was :)
Just found your channel. Great video and commentary. Subscribed can’t wait to see your other trips 🏍🏍
Hi Andrew,

My back yard ;)
I love this place, nice video mate
Thanks mate 👍
I love all your vids to 👍👍 I think we’re both in the same city also.
Just started watching, no audio on the right channel only left?
Hi Mate,
Thanks for watching and your comments.
I have now purchased a new mic which should mean all future uploads are stereo :)
Thanks for pointing it out though!
Kind Regards
Adventure 4 Life :)
@@Adventure4LifeTV you can easily copy left channel over to right and get stereo sound. Takes 10 seconds to do;)
@@steffenmorris3983 Hi Steffens. Thanks for the advice.
I have now purchased a new mic which is fine but I’ll defo remember your tip if I have that issue again..! Thanks 🙏🏼
Interesting listening to the motor under moderate load/acceleration, there’s a whirring chirp which seems to be a characteristic of the 1250 engine. Do you find it noticeable?
Hi,
Thanks for your comment.
I don't really notice it to be honest but I do agree that the GS does have its own unique sounds compared to other bikes.
The left ticking sound that comes from the engine is one of them.
Kind Regards

I can't believe how narrow the roads are. Did they run out of asphalt?
Beautiful place though
Thanks for your comments and watching :)
Yes the roads are so narrow but you still get massive lorries driving down them.

Great Vid. Where did you set off from?

How far was your round trip , it’s 500 miles for me in a day ,
Hi Carl,
Thanks for the comment.
I think it was about 500-550 all in by the time I had ridden around up there for the day.
I did Wrynose and Hardknott and then down to the coast and then north a little until Calder Bridge then back over past Whinlatter. It was a long ride that day but an absolutely awesome one. I'm going to buy a tent and head back soon.

@@Adventure4LifeTV so I need to man up abs go again
Forgot to say great video
@@Carlnewman68 thanks for watching 👊🏻✊🏻🤟🏻
what's that road mate where you took a pic for the cyclists
Just heading up Wrynose.. Awesome place!
I’m curious about the phone as well as the Nav and TFT … why ?
Yes it’s stupid. The Nav came with the bike but I expect they will soon stop putting them on and just have the TFT. Its not needed now. 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for the comment.
@@Adventure4LifeTV I like the big screen on the new RT , with integral Nav… BUT ! Of course it’s not touch sensitive!
And I would miss the “jab at the map “.. Go There … touch screen !!
What?! it’s not touch screen 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ that seems like a back step.
@@Adventure4LifeTV ruclips.net/video/_IGo0q2QgMk/видео.html
@@maxflight777 the screen is massive. It’s like the one in my car. I like the wireless phone charger holder box.. looks awesome 👏🏻
I got it, Wrynose Pass
Yes, thats the one :)
Hi you started off in Holbrooks you from Coventry I am. Safe 👍👍
Yes I am also from Coventry :)
Nice video. Do you happen to have the route you took available to share?
Hi,
Thanks for your comment. I have got the route.
I'll see if I can add it and send it for you :)
It is absolutely stunning there.
Thanks
@@Adventure4LifeTV That would be great. I'm out riding in Cornwall at the moment, but want to do a Lakes trip in the next month or so.
Hi Ben, I’ll try and get it to you soon 👍🏻👍🏻
Is your Speedo in miles or kms
Hi,
in the UK we use MPH.
Thanks for watching :)
Your video and audio quality is great, what setup do you use?
Hi, Thanks for your comment :)
At the moment I have started using the GoPro Hero 9 with a mic inside my helmet under the cheek pad. The GoPro is producing some awesome results. Just need some dry weather now so I can get back out there. :)
Nice video, thanks. May I suggest a possible improvement, with respect, instead of the repeated , Wow, and, Just look at that. Would it be possible to tell your audience the names and locations , that way it would be easier to follow your ride and make orientation better and more enjoyable. I hasten to add, there is nothing wrong with your presentation, it is very pleasant! Ride safe. 🏍🏍👍👍
Hey, thanks for your advice. Like I wrote in the description, I am new to making videos and I need to get used to the speaking part lol. I actually spoke loads on the actual original footage but still wasn’t happy with it. Hopefully on my next upload I’ll add the talking parts 😂😂 thanks for the comment, much appreciated 👊🏻✊🏻🤟🏻
@@Adventure4LifeTV if you forgot to mention it you could put litle pop up text in the edit where you are. I would love to come ride uk after covid. cheers from finland! and sorry if my english is bad :D
Thank u for checking on the cyclist 😊
Yes, it doesn't cost anything to be kind :)
I assume that was the fluctuating temperature displayed on your dashboard and not the speed. You may want to block that out in future videos as you never know who's watching
Hi Peter,
Thanks for watching and your comments.
The speedo was broken which has now been repaired since that ride.
Thanks for your observations and kind advise :)
Adventure 4 Life
Yea my speedo plays up a lot too. It's a common fault. Nice video. 👍
