I feel f'd up about them making you take down your invincible coverage then comics explained puts up even more in depth coverage with no issue just because he is a big creator.
That’s wild I was wondering where it went. Tbf Danny’s coverage is almost double comics explained from what I remember. Comics explained only has his short version of invincible up. Still sucks Danny is a top tier comic channel and he should be getting more love
As a Russian it was cringe worthy listening to Danny use a Russian accent but learning his secret dark fantasy about hunting down orphans when he becomes rich made me smile.
This man's art is breathtaking! I thought I recognised the name but soon realised it's the same artist who did the American Vampire books. @dannymalt, you've done it again. Sunday Service! Xxx
Nice video, Danny! You chose a wonderful conclusion to Millar if I do say so myself. Here's to more comic greatness, and future orphan hunting of course lol
Awesome video! Maybe you could do the original Hellblazer comics? Or the Alan Moore Swamp Thing run? Or Fables? Or the Animal Man comics by Grant Morrison? Or the original Static run? Or Doom Patrol also by Grant Morrison? Or Astro City? Or the original The Dreaming series? Or Hitman from the '90? Or the Grant Morrison X-Men run? Or All-Star Western from The New 52? Or the Punisher run by Grant Ennis? Or Saga? Or the newest Lucifer run? Or the first Vigilante run? Or Wonder Woman by George Perez? Or The Flash by Geoff Johns? Or The Walking Dead? Or Unknown Soldier by Grant Ennis?
It took me a while to process what Prodigy's premise of a multi-talented super-genius going on adventures reminded me of but then suddenly it struck me... Buckaroo Banzai! lol
Full honest, this video really got me really hankering to watch Buckaroo Banzai again. I'm really looking forward to this getting an adaption some day.
Definitely 8.5 and quite possibly a 9 just on that the main character is so curiously flushed out in such a way that you root for him despite his constant overweening analysis on himself, adding in on the other side you have the over confident devious mindset and sick ideals of the villans. Easily a 9.5..!!
After that intro I thought I was gunna hate this but this story just pulls you in. I would love to see this turned into a movie. ONLY if they follow the exact storyline.
I like Prodigy The comic book. I'm glad to see a guy who is enhanced intelligent and possesses great fighting skills against his attackers. A male needs to know how to handle himself in any situation. It pays to learn some kind of a self-defense in these perilous days and crazy times if you know what I mean. A million thank you. Take care and Be safe. Guy.
The story was great but they could have taken it to more interesting direction. I was surprised when you said that the parallel universe plot was uninteresting but you were right. I think they focused too much on trying to convince us that he was special instead of creating a problem that he solved to shkw us he was special. I was expecting Kush to be him from the other earth. Anyway it is what it is.
Bro I was eating Skittles when you made the joke about never being rich enough to go orphan hunting LOL I nearly choked I would be okay with going out like that😂😂
There's a way to do Gary Stu/Mary Sue characters right. If the absurdity of the plot is set up in the beginning then we're more accepting of these characters.
I thought it was leaps and bounds better than the live action tv show. Hell I thought it was some cool unheard of anime for a while until I saw all the utopian and super max references.
I can remember other characters performing ridiculous feats. Doogie Howser -The Teen Doctor That Man Flint- He was almost just like Edison Defusing a bomb while in mid air- James Bond anyone? Maybe it was another character. But Bond pulled off some pretty ridiculous stunts. Charlie's Angels- Ciimbing into and flying a helicopter as it was falling off a cliff. Ethan Hunt from the MI series. Some stunts from the Fast+ Furious franchise The list just goes on. Just make the comic a bit more edgy/gritty and it would be a guaranteed Hollywood Blockbuster.
Live action would mess it up. The writers would nerf the character saying "no one would relate to a guy who always wins and always has a solution" even though that's the whole point of the character. Either that or they will cringe it up somehow.
I feel f'd up about them making you take down your invincible coverage then comics explained puts up even more in depth coverage with no issue just because he is a big creator.
I'm still salty about it, more so because I didn't download it.
Yeah I personally enjoyed Danny's more
Yup dannys explanation was great of invisible, and he did it first and waaay before the show was suppose to come out.

>as a Russian
Stfu, you are definitely not
@@MsKuler yeah Russians….
I am American but I also thought the attempt at a Russian accent was terrible but at the same time hilarious
If you are or you aren’t really Russian I stand by my last comment
😂😂 Right on
Finally! The crown jewel of Mark Millar's creations! Thanks Dannymalt. Keep up the awesome storytelling, dude! Love ya!
Basically, Edison is the Western version of an Shonen Anime Protagonist.
Edison is definitely a JoJo character
@@naheemquattlebaum2267 Nah, he doesn't dress weird or strike enough poses!
He even has the talk no jutsu
So Edison is basically Dr. Manhattan in his head.
This book was too fun. I could see this as a live action Netflix series over the top Raymond Reddinton.
Yeah this is very fun also a very great read
I love it. This is how Steven Seagal see himself everyday.
Danny, you are a RUclips Gem!!! Keep rocking, never stopping!!!!
Danny always pick the best tracks, that intro to Edison was smooth.
Drew me right in, great choice! Xxx
Thanks!

😘 I think I just met my future ex-girlfriend. ❤
a good read after almost a year . good to be back Danny man.
lol that was some ridiculous fun. kind of reminded me, at one point, of the anime "haven't you heard? I'm Sakamoto." lol
He’s basically an OP Mister Terrific. Still here for it tho!
Nice video, Danny! You chose a wonderful conclusion to Millar if I do say so myself.
Here's to more comic greatness, and future orphan hunting of course lol
My favorite storyteller bro. Your channel is great!

Wow so many suggestions!

It took me a while to process what Prodigy's premise of a multi-talented super-genius going on adventures reminded me of but then suddenly it struck me... Buckaroo Banzai! lol
He also reminds me of Marvel's own Prodigy. But Mark actually did something with his version instead of depowering him + shoving him off to the side.
He's Millar's take on Mr. Terrific (Michael Holt) but without the mask and motorcycle gear that he wears.
You picked a superb novel to read. I’m honestly subscribing to this channel just so I don’t miss you reading the conclusion to Prodigy
Full honest, this video really got me really hankering to watch Buckaroo Banzai again. I'm really looking forward to this getting an adaption some day.
Yes!!
IKR!😆
Prodigy this guy man
he is on cartoon levels of a smart ass .
i bet he can build a Japanese robot just for him self like the gundom one
I’ve been waiting on Prodigy. Thank sir and great video as always.
I see Edison in Damascus putting on the hat looking like The Rock in Jungle Cruise lol.
Lol now I want a tv series on this for real 😉💯
Love these Sunday uploads
Its a stupid wish fulfillment storyline, and im totally into it. Thank you.😊
Danny you gotta lower the background music like 2 notches, other than that good work keep it up
I love Raphael Albuquerque's art style! Since American Vampire, I've really enjoyed his work!
Definitely 8.5 and quite possibly a 9 just on that the main character is so curiously flushed out in such a way that you root for him despite his constant overweening analysis on himself, adding in on the other side you have the over confident devious mindset and sick ideals of the villans. He felt too O.P. like rey from star wars
Tanx Danny you never miss. Always on point
this was totally awesome!!
After that intro I thought I was gunna hate this but this story just pulls you in. I would love to see this turned into a movie. ONLY if they follow the exact storyline.
Luv this series, love to see this on the big screen
Maybe one of the better Millar books in resent years. I use to know a guy everyone called King Cush(for different reasons)
I'm addicted to these videos
This comic is damn good, great job narrating
That hour went by so fast
Big fan Danny…. Keep up the good work.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Would be nice to have a movie made from this. 🙏🏽
It's gonna need a super charismatic guy for the lead. Back then maybe Will Smith. Now? Probably Tenet guy or Michael b Jordan.
I would love for Prodigy to get the anime treatment like Supercrooks.
Speaking of Clause, anybody remember when Lobo infiltrated Santa's workshop fought him in a machete fight?😂
20:55 its called talk no jutsu. look it up.
This man mastered the most powerful technique in anime
Woo hoo Danny malt is back
Loved it 😊👍
Finally. A black comic.👍
When Netflix adapts this John David Washington and Vanessa Kirby better play the lead roles
Netflix will F it up.
20:58 Charisma + Wisdom check at work.
Kudos to another great video. Mahershala Ali would make an excellent Edison Crane if Netflix plants to make this into a movie.
20:08 - AYO so we got another "Talk No Jutsu" user in this joint?
I like Prodigy The comic book. I'm glad to see a guy who is enhanced intelligent and possesses great fighting skills against his attackers. we need more Millar! hehe

this is a great title
Big ED is now one of my new favorite characters!!!$$$+++
Dope Music choice
On my Logan ish? YOUR content?!....Nuff Said!!! Worth the subscribe! And definitely worth the follow!
This was a great comic
Edison just used Talk no Jutsu in the henchmen 😂
Never heard of a guy talking the bad guy on to his side??? This guy's never heard of Naruto's strongest jitsu... The TalkNoJustsu 😂😂😂😂
The convoluted part made this funny. I wish J. Scott Campbell illustrated this book
Edison is a fuckin beast
This is how I see the X-Man Prodigy portrayed.
Need bro to do kick ass
Love these!
Bro I was eating Skittles when you made the joke about never being rich enough to go orphan hunting LOL I nearly choked I would be okay with going out like that😂😂
Edison is a Gary Stu character but I don't hate it.
There's a way to do Gary Stu/Mary Sue characters right. If the absurdity of the plot is set up in the beginning then we're more accepting of these characters.
@@naheemquattlebaum2267 That seems about right.
Rockstar games needs to develop a game based on this.
Well, all that's needed now is for him to team up with Moon Girl lol
Edison is dope.
What's the name of the this awesome tune for the video?
This comic and character are both interesting and amazing 👏
So far, I'm getting Gary Stu vibes. Open heart surgery as a kid? Yeah... definitely some kind of satire.
funnest story to start a Sunday
Check mate.
Good stuff.
Thank you.
🙏🏽👍🏽🤘🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽
Did anyone watch the super crooks anime?
I thought it was pretty good 👍
I thought it was leaps and bounds better than the live action tv show. Hell I thought it was some cool unheard of anime for a while until I saw all the utopian and super max references.
@@sonicboom104 I was not expecting that pool scene.
No, not annoyed at all. But, I'm sure Netflix will find a way to ruin this for me, once it becomes a series.
Danny I appreciate you 👍👑💯
This comic was helpful, next time someone asked me to point out a Gary Stu I can point to this comic .
Hey man! Do you think you will cover Scalped? Its so good!!
My only hesitation is that it’s a big commitment. But I really like Scalped, so maybe!
Volume 2?
Is this series coming back?
I can remember other characters performing ridiculous feats.
Doogie Howser -The Teen Doctor
That Man Flint- He was almost just like Edison
Defusing a bomb while in mid air- James Bond anyone? Maybe it was another character. But Bond pulled off some pretty ridiculous stunts.
Charlie's Angels- Ciimbing into and flying a helicopter as it was falling off a cliff.
Ethan Hunt from the MI series.

God knows how many characters in Anime?
God knows how many characters in Anime?
Prodigy:A Sigma Male Tale
He used a naruto Jutsu on those henchmen 😂
I think this is ripe for adaptation. I enjoyed reading it...it could be a limited series if adapted to live-action
Live action would mess it up. The writers would nerf the character saying "no one would relate to a guy who always wins and always has a solution" even though that's the whole point of the character. Either that or they will cringe it up somehow.
Nice video
Edison like black fantastic 1
21:00 Talk no jutsu!
Thanks
Who knew Mark Millar was "In The Knowledge"...
If they make a movie or show about him, he needs to be played by Michael B Jordan...
I liked this one 👍🏾
Kinda reminds me of Doc Savage, BTW kids please stop trying to kill the hyper genius
He seem to know talk no jutsu 😆
So basically, Edison is like the MCU's version of One Punch Man in blackface....🤔
I can dig it lol
So the signature signapore pronunciation has been the same even this far back lol
Orphan hunting sounds like something techno blade would come up with
did he talk the henchmen down or were they saving there boss ?
Sooooo..... How was Nimrod able to survive the journey, yet no one else did?
The d man back in action 🎬
