I spent a long time looking at various bullpup reviews and I ended up getting the reign, I absolutely love the rifle and one search criteria that ruled out many others was the cocking mechanism. There are loads of bullpup rifles with the bolt or cocking lever too far back towards your face to be practical, this shows that walther thought about the design more than many other Manufacturers.
Honest reviews are what brings me here. Thank you sir! I am an avid small game hunter and been seriously considering a PCP after several break barrels, Already have scuba tanks on hand and this Walther will likely be my first .
Nice review mate. I got mine in .22 US version I noticed that the bottle that comes with European version is bigger than the US version. The trigger is really easy to adjust, now mine is breaking clean, I feel when stops before the discharge. The US version is un shrouded quite ugly has a fixed moderator @ the end. Other than that I did some shooting in my basement last night this “German puppy” looks promising. I can’t wait to get little warmer to do longe range shooting and chronograph. Also the US version isn’t regulated sucks big time. Happy shooting mate and thanks for the review!
Bought one of these a few days ago. It's my first bullpup and I love it! It's so light you could shoot it single handed, it shoulders well, and is very accurate 👍
Great review! Thanks, Im going to get one when it comes here to the US market. Going to switch it to left hand. I have some Walther Firearms and an air rifle and they are all excellent.
This one been on my mind for quite a while now.. I can feel the urge rising uowards towards finally buying one. And in the lighting of this video - that damn thing looked just way awesome! The type it is, suits myself very well. Love the looks, the magazine system, the ergonomic polymer construction.. Just funny how some are regulated, some not. Some barrels shrouded, some not. This regulated .177 could be regged a bit higher up - and then used to shoot 1gram Gamo G-Hammer pellets. Would be fun to try that if not gotten a .22 Reign straight away.. I oughta start looking for this Reign from my local retailers now. - and to closely inspect the specs of what is being sold..But this one looked amazing! And the trigger can even be adjustedat the back just by removing the rear buttpad instead of disassembling the whole rifle casing. Dunno - maybe could even pack the casing up with additional weights here and there to get a heavier rifle - if so would like for some reason. I once weighted my ASG CZ P-09 CO2 pellet pistol to get a way heftier gun of it. This Reign just might have some spare dead space within it for sucha thing. Maybe if just wanted a changed balance to it? Dunno. Just a thought...
Interesting comments.and by the time it has a good scope, moderator ,ir light etc it soon puts weight on.been hunting 35 years and that gun groups within a 10p piece at 65 meters all day,if you can shoot and pellet dependent.jsb all day.each to there own.
Very cool and nice rifle. Great accuracy, beautifully made and compact. Has a bit of a bark though. Would probably put a Donny FL sumo or shogun moderator on it and it would be perfect with the added element of stealth through silence. My high powered Airforce Condor SS .25 with the Donny FL shogun moderator literally sounds like psss. I don't even scare birds and squirrels in my back yard when shooting. And these are the same animals that will flee to the sound of a small stick snapping.
Can't wait to purchase the 22cal Walther Reign soon as it hits the U.S. markets hopefully by the end of August 🎯great presentation video 🎯very accurate Pcp 🎯
Hi, great review but I'm curious. I've seen several vids on this rifle and some say it's regulated and others say it isn't. Here in the US a popular place to purchase air guns is Pyramyd Air but there add for this rifle doesn't mention a regulator. Did you add one to your rifle and is the silencer a stock item?
Totally agree with your comments re price. Great looking gun but for a little bit more you're into FX territory. If Walther shaved off a hundred something pounds, they'd clean up.
Hi James. Thanks for the review. Personally I like look of the gun - everyone's entitled to their opinion. If its light, accurate and easy to carry around, that suits me fine. However, it is overpriced, so can you recommend a cheaper Bullpup - max £500. Thanks
Good Review James , well presented. Yes I think they might have blown it with price ? Around £ 500 - 600 would be better to sell lots . Looking forward to your next great Review. Take care .. cheers Simon
Good review! I’ve actually bought one and it exactly fits the bill - it’s short + light + accurate. I’ve got an AA TDK - P15 + FAC Wildcat but this is now my go to gun. I take this when I I’m just going for a walk around the farm - it’s slips into a back pack “just in case”. Just one question - is that a Donny fl - if so which one?
Not for that money. I handled one at an RFD, it's stock reminded me of the cheap Gamo Phox stock. And look what you'll get for just £500. The Reign should be well under £600.
I contacted hull (the uk distributors) several months ago to see if they’d be interested in sending one down to review; but unfortunately i never received a reply - so it’s unlikely it’ll be appearing on RR. James.
That could be said about any replica... umarex rarely make their own guns these days, it’ll be vfc or one of the other far eastern manufacturers but they’ll still be referred to as umarex. Its been marketed as walther, marked up as walther which is why its referred to as walther...
You are wrong, and replica review is also wrong in response. Vfc and overseas companies make licensed replicas from umarex, like glock, Beretta and h&k.. True. But walther is walther, made in germany in the walther factory, regardless of umarex ownership of the brand.
Nice styling on the gun, spoiled I think buy the cheapy plastic stock for the quite high price. I think I’d go for a HW100BP over this, for the extra £££££ it’s well worth it though.

Tried one, loved it,gunna be picking one up, also a nice change from having to lug something around a field.
It’s certainly easy to lug around, enjoy! James
Just ordered the full power version in .25 thanks for the review!
enjoy!
@@ReplicaReviews which pellets would you recommend for the .25 version please?
Nice unbiased review James thanks for taking the time to look into the rifle for us
No worries, thanks for watching!

this rifle looks beautiful. I like its curves. the low price is also a bonus

Hi, just got one of these, having major problems zeroing it, what make is the bipod please?
THX for showing the innards - someting all too often overlooked in reviews !
Not a problem, thanks for watching!
Good review, mate. And I share your point about the price.
Thanks!

Nice review!! I cant find anywhere is Reign barrel choked or not. I would like to use slugs with this beauty
All barrels with have choking of sorts. Best bet would be to contact the manufacturer before doing anything that could potentially damage the barrel.
@@ReplicaReviews Thank you for the info!
I bought this June 18 2022 for $500.75 which is 408 pounds sterling. So I would think the price should’ve gone down in the UK
what moderator are u using, did you need an 1/2x20 adapter
Great review James!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
I think what spoils this would be the screw holes looks very toyish but ye just my opion
Issue is they are needed to allow you to separate the two halves to take them apart for adjusting the triggers etc.
Very nice review as usual.
Any plan to review the HW100BP in the near future.

Where are you based? I have put an order today, if you near me I can let you review my gun.
Lets not forget about the Artemis P15?.. I think you should do a review!
Can’t say its a rifle thats made it on my radar before - i’ll take a look! James
@@ReplicaReviews I think you'll be interested it's very customisable and quite budget friendly but worth more imo
hello ,,, what is the threading of the barrel ... thanks
1/2 inch UNF
Great review 👍I'm not a fan of bull pups too wavy and easy to pull off target
Thanks. Debatable 😉
Great review m8y, thanks!👍
thanks!
Is it possible to buy in Denmark - I have not seen it at any dealers yet?
You’d need to contact your local Umarex dealer and enquire with them. James
Hou many FPS with jsb 10.34
can u put a larger bottle on that
which silencer u use`?
It’s a huggett belita
Good honest review
thanks! appreciated. james
it is my next gun saving cash 4 one
enjoy!
Tanks for review
you're welcome!
Thanks for a great review honest opion Cheers
No worries, thanks for watching. James
Thanks for the review.
No worries - thanks!
Will it take down a coyote?
When is it being released?
Already out and available in the UK. Row may differ but i believe they are out
It just works
Can i put a bigger bottle on it?
Theres no room within the stock to allow for a larger bottle so you’d have to start butchering the gun - can’t say i’d advise it.
Excellent review. ATB MMMD
Thanks!
What is the price in USD ?
You’d need to approach your local BSA dealer for an accurate US price.
I don't know about you but for me this gun is to short, I prefer much longer airguns
Can you fix a gun sling if so witch one
Price?
All information contained within the video....
more plastic than polymer not held or shoot one, but it doesn't appeal tbh
£200 over price in my opinion!!!
Yep i agree roger, i was considering buying one, but at that price, im going to leave it and have another look around, Cheers
At same price there is now Norica Dark Bull. Looks well !!!!
berpa harganya
Isn't that just a walther rotax in a bullpup body... But twice the price.
No
Very nice 👍
Thank you 👍
Too expensive if you take into account all the plastics. Doesn't look like it will last for years due to that.
Preço dela!!
Its not regulated.
First sentence, and your info is incorrect... Yes it is a Walther, but it's made by Umarex, they own Walther branding.

"First sentence"? What in the hell is that supposed to mean?
A Walther is a Walther. Rolls Royce is German owned but it's a Rolls Royce. Your comment makes no sense.
You are wrong, and replica review is also wrong in response. Vfc and overseas companies make licensed replicas from umarex, like glock, Beretta and h&k.. True. But walther is walther, made in germany in the walther factory, regardless of umarex ownership of the brand.
@@user-itschad1954 How is a Rolls Royce a "Rolls Royce" It's a Damn BMW lock stock and barrel! Next to nothing in common with a real Rolls Royce!

Too expensive the Kral is better value
Not worth 700 odd quid full stop ,, it’s like a plastic kids toy
Send me here in the Philippines sir james.....ty
Yuck 🤢. Horrible thing. But that’s my opinion
