    used to drive AAA wrecker, including jumps and lockouts. me and wife were in a local watering hole one nite and idiot comes in wanting me to unlock his car. i didn't have a kit with me. "give me $50 and i'll open your car". mad as hell at me, but paid up front. i went out, jammed 5 or 6 cedar shingles into the door gap, grabbed a pool cue and hit the lock switch button on the door handle. he was madder, and demanded his money back--20 seconds wasn't worth it. so i did, locked the door and slammed it back shut--keys still in the ignition, went back to wife and beer. last i saw, he had busted out a rear door window. heh.

    That first story had me creased up with laughter. I've ( currently ) been in photography for 58 years...( yeah...I'm old lol ). But I spent a lot of time running, managing and owning photolabs...so I've seen pretty much everything in terms of the way people behave...and what comes on the photographs...and trust me...I now have an extremely good knowledge of human anatomy.
    But this guy was the weirdest / funniest / most exasperating customer I've ever had. OK...so guy comes in to collect his photos...he's a professional photographer...a real one....not a 'wannabe'...and he's actually really good. Now I don't know if he was just having a bad day ( it would have had to have been a real doozy had that been the case ) or if he had taken some drugs / was having an allergic reaction to some meds...I literally have no idea.
    So he comes in to collect his prints...portrait shots of a young woman...and the shots are seriously fantastic. The composition, lighting, the poses....everything about them is truly among the best I've seen. He HATES them...and he's trying to blame ME for it ! This went on for well over an HOUR and despite me asking him to tell me what he thinks is wrong with them he either can't...or wont.
    Eventually he stomped out leaving the prints behind...His wife came in about two hours later and asked to see the print...she LOVES them. So she pays and takes the prints...and I never heard from them again...oh well !

    Even had the woman called the police they would have just told her it's a civil matter. I myself called the cops on a merchant long ago, but that was actually theft and the pd gave option to credit my card or go to jail. This all happened when I purchased new phones for myself and family and without knowing it, the store manager actually took a picture of both front and back of my card and ran it the next day on services we never asked for. The store was trying to make projection for the quarter. When I started getting emails for new charges I didn't do, went to the pd to show what was going on. They in turn walked with me next door which was where this merchant was and officer asks the guy if he ran my card. Guy says yes and even states he has copy of my card on his phone. Seems similar happened and he got so used to hearing its a civil matter that telling an officer he had a copy of my card on his phone was enough to order he fix the problem or go to jail. I got notification of all false sales credited back but before we left, officer takes the managers phone and asks if there are any other pictures of my card. Manager says no, and officer deletes ones of my card from the phone. Tells me I should stop the card regardless, then goes.

I said break the window, Then she says I have some money in the car so I get a piece of wire and open it, it stank of wacky baccy and buts everywhere She and her boy friend had been sleeping in it,, He had disappeared so she could play the damsel in distress part,, it didn't work with me,, I don't do losers any favours,, I work and not live on hand outs,,

    I just had a Karen experience, though in the whole mess, I think I was the Karen or part Karen the moment I ran the other Karen over with my wheel chair accidentally. Yes, it was an accident. Stupid idiot stuck his foot out to push the disengage lever to disable my chair but instead my 200 lb chair loaded with my 200 lb self ran his foot over in his attempt. I'm still seething mad!
    Anyway it went like this. I'm at the convienance store with my kids and in line holding 5 items. One cashier going very slowly and talking to customer in their same language. All I know is Im next when this huge behemoth reaches over and presses the button that shuts my chair off, then walks past me saying you snooze you loose and beckons his friends past me to the cashier. I yell to the cashier as Im restarting My chair with an "Ahem, dont ring that ass up!" and instantly regret the Ahem as I feel like I now just labeled myself a Karen. My kids even backed away due to the all knowing Ahem. I don't know this guy or his drinking buddies, or even how he knows how my chair operates to know enough how to disable it. His buddies seemed amused. Btw, the only thing I did Karen like was the Ahem. I don't have a Karen hairdo. Chemo does that to you. No purse as Im a dude. Then again dudes around here do carry purses, though not me. Amway, as Im rolling up, and saying don't take oompaloompa on steroids, they just cut me and disabled my chair, the cashier says I know, I saw. Yet he chose to ignore it and I said nothing further other than to roll past to get my things rung up when suddenly my chair stops moving, and mr OompaLoompa on steroids, Ill just call him MOL for short, yells out in pain and quite a few spanish curse words, like medacona, bendayho, and a few others. Looked them up at home after. Nice size line behind us is shouting not at me but MOL and friends telling cashier to kick them out. That will never happen. They don't care one ounce if a customer gets verbally abusive and goes as far as cursing out their God, they only care that these people have money to spend. Another customer clearly says it's OLMs fault, but can hardly be heard over OLMs bawling. Turns out, he stuck His foot out in an attempt to push the lever next to the rear wheel which disengages the Motor from the gear system. This is used when either the battery goes dead so chair can be pushed easily, or transporting onto vehicles when no one is riding in the chair. It's not meant to be pushed or pulled when chair is in motion as it can jam the gear system. When OLM pressed the lever with his foot while I was moving, the idiot lost his balance and as I said above, 200lb chair plus 200lb me ran his foot over, and in the process his leg pulled into the machine, which was now being crushed between the wheel and frame of the chair. His friends had to hold him up as if he been forced to turn fully, his ankle would have snapped. Hes screaming about suing me and the store while other customers try helping and even tell the guy good luck, he stuck his foot in and plenty saw this. Because chair moved when he did this, lever jammed. Several customers helped me out of my chair while OLMs buddies held him while several other customers lifted my chair up partially to force turn the wheel and fully disengage the gear. We all hear a loud pop and finally the wheel disengages , releasing the mans leg. He was rocking back and fourth like a little child sitting on the floor. With all this going on, shockingly no one called the cops. Im helped back into my chair, pay for my things. No apology from cashier, no sorry or free food discount. I didn't ask for one and guess the best bonus was not getting double charged for anything. OLM and company pay for their cheap generic beer and leave limping away. No accident report, nothing except for the customers asking if Im ok. We start eating our food amd leave. Outside, plenty of cars and people, no OLM and company. I plan writing this on youtube when I get home as a Karen VS Karen and head back home with my kids. Cross the street and cut through the tunnel to other side when one of my kids shout as a car turns the corner and drives onto the sidewalk barely missing me and my kids, and blocking the sidewalk preventing me from going further. No suprise its OLM and company. They waited for us to get far from eye and earshot of any wittness. Had they looked, they might have thought twice due to so many cctv camera's all over. OLM has what looks to be a stick or Iron pipe but square. Not sure which, I tell my kids to run and call the pd. Neither listen except to take out phone and start calling.. Olm limps over and not swinging at me yet goes to grab my kids phone with his buddies right behind. OLM gave me the opening I needed and with a scream falls to the ground twitching. I tased his arse. His buddies see this and one takes out a knife and as he does this, something else falls out to the ground, metallic sounding and falls into the sewer grate. I have my taser in full view and my kids I yell again to run take their Tasers out too. 16 and older allowed to carry when supervised by an adult. One down and 3 against 3. I tase OLM for good measure and one with knife is having second thoughts. Im just glad no guns involved or this would have been worse. Im tapped on my shoulder by my other child who went in my medical kit and handed me my better taser. Forgot all about it. Fires 3 shots all at once or separately and from a distance. My kids step further back and guy with knife doesn't know if what Im now holding is gun or Taser and drops his knife. Im clearly visibly shaking and most likely these guys see it too. My attention is distracted a moment when another car drives onto the sidewalk. One of those 4x4 type. My kids and myself saw this truck at the store earlier when we left and figured it was more of OLMs friends. Im now cursing at my kids to run and use the steps to the platform. Cars cant climb these stairwells and they listen and start to run as the 4x4 approaches. Im getting ready to tase someone when the truck slowly connects with OLMs car and pushes it off the path. I quickly start moving and you guessed it, run over OLMs leg as hes still on the ground. Learned yet another spanish curse word. Moments as I prepare to go with my kids who are far ahead of me see them heading back despite my protests and freak out because I stupidly took my eyes off of OLM when I went to make my escape. I partially turn around to see OLM being manhandled into their car which is pretty damaged in corner from being pushed by that truck. I also see why they no longer followed. Several police cars had turned the corner and these guys wanted to be gone stat. I can see the turmoil inside as it looks like they are either fighting or looking for something. PD is on scene, and OLM is manhandled with his buddies out of the car. Two come my way, I'm told to not move and I don't. My kids rush back and officers tell them to put the Tasers on ground and step back as the other collects them. Im then asked to slowly put mine in the basket, and keep hands in full view. Both mine are collected. Two hours of police reports. Will be told what charges will be finalized and Ill follow up once I know. Child endangerment and deadly force with deadly weapon will definitely be 2 of the many charges to follow. The driver of the 4x4 who pushed the car so we could get away called the PD after they saw OLM drive off and attempt to hide poorly in wait for me. I sorta felt bad for 2 things. Damage to their truck helping my kids and me and mistaking the driver for a guy when they actually were female. I got all Tasers back except for the one I used on OLM. Their keeping it as evidence. OLMs car is being towed and impounded as evidence too. Car was stolen. The funny part was talking about how the 4 kept fighting in the car instead of making a break for it when they could. Found out it wasn't a fight at all. It was everyone in a panic trying to find the car keys that each Karen in training thought the other had. Remember that metallic sound I heard when knife was pulled on me? It was their car keys that fell out and into the storm drain below. Guess Ill call this Karen and the order of fries.

      First - even if the copyright couldn't be printed should have been able to show it on the cd.
      Next - did OP verify that the CD was in the package that the customer shoved at OP? If the customer has the cd she has the pics and the copyright! Gotcha.

    • @MacClay8
      @MacClay8 3 года назад

      Yeah but unless OP actually showed her the PDF on the CD, the crazy lady isn't entirely out of line by doubting it exists. Especially if she was led to believe that she would have a physical copy of the release. Frankly, OP's store should have demonstrated that the CD worked just fine and showed her the release on it for a $200+ package.
      That they didn't and the OP coincidentally got offered a promotion makes me doubt the story is entirely truthful.
