When I am using layered plywood I create the mortice and tenons by using different lengths of plywod glued together, similar result without needing a dado stack etc
An outstanding project, well made, great perfection on the construction. May be at some point you could show your furry companions using the doggy bed. Many thanks for the wonderful video. 👍👍👍👍
This isnt a very DIY friendly project for the average joe. We dont have all these woodworking instruments. You should make a video that is more practical for those of us that dont have this equipment. However, your video is excellent. Well designed and very thorough!
For first video very good and insightful. Need to come back in 6 months or a year do a recap on how that bed's holding up I'm kind of interested in finding out how them dolls hold the weight of your dog to make sure how heavy they are but or how many. But I do know that you know not being a mechanical fasting device makes it a little less say structurally sound. But I'm still interested in finding how holea up. Also please I'm sure how many dog you have what size they are wait and maybe a video of them using the bed and ramp. Overall though very good video.
is using plywood cut down then glueing them together instead of simply using 4x4's mainly for aesthetics or is there another reason to build this that way>
I had an idea the other day after watching this. I'm suuuuper new when it comes to woodworking and DIY'ing, but I really want to try making this for my dog, so here's my idea: I want to try using an Ikea coffee table as my base and working from there. I was thinking of replacing or adding length to the legs to get the height i'm looking for, reinforcing the structure somehow, and adding rails. Then I'd just have to make steps or a ramp. What do you think, workable?
Can you build this for me? I will literally pay you to ship something like this for me! If you're interested we can coordinate with the dimensions. Leave a reply if that is something you'd be interested in. Thanks!
Great video. I love using high quality plywood for projects. Only thing it needs is more dogs!
They'll be in the update video!

i think by that point it would be cheaper and easier just to do it from scratch

You can make this for less than $100 including tools if you shot at a pawnshop and use pallets
*starts looking for a carpenter* This is awsome but you lost me in the first minute lol. Excellent work though!
