I was hoping someone would do this song. It's been my Thanksgiving tradition for years. Bring me back to a different time, where songs were written to educate, not tittilate. Thank you.
I grew up with this beloved old song. It never fails to make me smile. Another humorous one by Arlo Guthrie is "I Don't Want a Pickle" (I just want to ride my motor-sickle)
I´m loving this song for nearly 30 years... and I also love the movie "Alice´s Restaurant", in which Arlo played the chief part. And I must say: Andrew Colunga did a great job!
What??? No! Really?? That's probably one of the most awesome things I've ever not done!! I wonder if its still there. I've loved this song for as long as I can remember... its genius .. just genius. I've tried to share it .. not many people seem to appreciate it the way I do, maybe you have to have heard it as a kid or have had it as a tradition. Idk. I'll love it forever tho. If the restaurant is still there it's on my bucket list!

So did the REAL Officer Obie! He didn't like it at first, until people recognized him! RIP Officer Obenheimer! ( Obie ) 💜
Thank you for doing this. I can't believe I've never seen anyone do a reaction to this before!
This is a basically a true story. I lived in western Massachusetts and have been to both the restaurant and church
Wow! Neat!

I remember when Alice's Restaurant came out ... just before I left for Vietnam.
Thank you, Sir! Hope you are okay. God Bless😇❤
I saw Arlo Guthrie at a Folk Festival back in 1980, headlining with Pete Seeger. It was epic.
Thanks for doing this. You should do his "I Don't Want a Pickle" next. Be safe.
I’m tempted to relate how i escaped getting busted in El Salvador , thanks to a failing lifgtt bulb, but it would take as long as this song.
Absolutely love you dude.
Fun song. Dig your shirt man. It is groovy.
What a legendary shirt.
A great anti-war song, Thanks
Does anyone know this kid's name? Just asking politely.
for christmas time please play -the pause of mr clause by arlo
So much of Arlo's dry wit is lost on this generation.
Too bad nobody understands this song anymore. My youngest daughter is 25 and finds it hilarious.
