Hey everyone, hope you are enjoying Tekken 8, finally the game is here. Thanks for the views, likes and comments, i really appreciate it. I was able to play T8 this weekend and wow this game is great! I'm still in T7 mode as you probably can notice, i have barely gotten used to how the Heat engagers and the whole Heat system works, this is work in progress for me, i will get into it with a bit more time. Lots of new stuff to learn. The attention to details put into this game are amazing, just look and listen here just as an example, at 4:15 you can actually hear the rain drops hitting the surface of Alisa's jetpack when she is flying into the stage, how cool isn't that? :) Stay tuned for more Alisa videos, Alisa is definitely my main character in Tekken 8 as well, love all the new stuff she has been given, especially her DES mode stuff. Been a casual alisa main since T7, really impressive combos and pokes. Whats des mode and can you do a move guide i see some t7 moves but not sure about the inputs😅
Hello, just so you know, the reason the colors are washed out in this footage is because HDR was turned on for the game but you don't have software to record HDR footage. If you want normal colors again, turn off HDR before recording! I hope the tip was helpful, and keep it up!
Hi, thanks for the input friend, you are right the HDR makes it look sort of washed out, the video becomes too dim and too dark. I had the HDR setting set to automatic and it picked up on that for Tekken 8 which means T8 supports HDR by default. I have turned off HDR completely now, next videos will be in 4K only. Another thing is that with HDR turned on it adds 5-6ms extra delay on my display compared to having it off.
I was hoping to see a video from you, always liked the way you play Alisa!! Tekken 8 is incredible and I really like what they did with Alisa, can't wait too see how you'll utilize her new things
I'm a long time Street Fighter player, but pretty much new at Tekken other than casually playing as a kid way back when. Alisa is so fun even as a beginner. Her moves are really satisfying to do. Her mobility and blade stance are insane too. I think I'll main her for now but there's so many others I wanna mess around with too.
@SC0RPI0NFURY Will do. I play Cammy in SF6, which is a mobile and fast pressure heavy style. I think Alisa sort of fits lol. But I am going to try different playstyles anyway. Definitely interested in Reina, Nina, and Yoshi
@@SharkWithFreakinLaserBeam Awesome, I think Alisa, Nina and Reina are most similar to Cammy when it comes to play style. Yoshimitsu is one of the most difficult characters to master in all Tekken games, he has over 200 moves, i won't advice you to not play Yoshi though, if you enjoy playing him go for it, he is fun to play, i used to play him a bit in Tekken 6 as a secondary character
Thanks. I am definitely getting screwed my T7 muscle memory. Today i have been practicing the new Heat system which is really fun when getting used to it. A lot of the T7 stuff still works but there's lots of changes made for sure which is something that needs to be mastered to play good or even decent. It's like T7 by it's core but with a added layer of new moves and brand new gameplay mechanics. I agree T8 Alisa is even more fun to play than T7 Alisa, she has almost all her previous moves but with lots of new moves added
@@SC0RPI0NFURY Exactly my thoughts man! It's so cool that they changed some moves to fit her robot character design even more, like 2,2 instead of 2,4 as i12 punish and those sweet Chainsaw extras like the hellsweep! Looking forward to more crazy aggressive Alisa vids from you bro
As usual your moves are still amazing scorpionfury ever since tk7!! Still wonder how you do the head drop counter so easily and flawlessly. Is there any tricks to it? Pretty sure you will climb to Tekken god so soon😳 will keep watch your alisa videos!!
Thanks friend. As for the the head drop counter i use it when i predict a 10 frame move which all of them usually starts with a high (1) after i attack with certain moves many will use their 10 frame to poke or try to punish
Need to constantly pull out the chainsaws through the moves and then attack with a lot of her + moves with the chainsaws to lure them into hitting with a counter hit such as f+1+2. At distance she has a lot of great 50/50's now from Destruction Stance

I need to re-adjust more from T7 😄 after watching the video my self i can see there are a few combos i'm doing that can probably be extended. For instance while i'm in DES mode and hit confirming (2,1+2) then back to neutral again doing ff343, i can probably extend it with b+2,3 first to get the bounce. I havn't tried it yet as i'm not able to play until this upcoming weekend
@@velvet_blood Awesome, gonna be interesting to hear. It really look like it's gonna work if you hit b+2,3 before the opponent hits the ground, got plenty of time it seems

Pretty sure Alisa is in her 20's and she is a robot btw, probably inspired by T1000 in Terminator and the movie Ghost in the shell. I personally couldn't care less if this character was a 60 year old male character or a big ass mom in her 40's. It's all about the gameplay and the move set when i choose to play a character in Tekken. Alisa has the most fun gameplay and some of the most unique gameplay in Tekken, thats the reason why i play this character.

My advice is to mess around with many characters and play the ones that fit your play style. Welcome back to Tekken, Tekken 8 is great!

same as cancelling chainsaws - db1+2, just you have to be very quick to be able to duck and continue into the combo
Press 1+2 again after u1+2 then iws1,2,3
