Yea its tough, had to farm more levels. 2 Thiefs should be enough. Just upload a seed farm location vid. ruclips.net/video/PELVtHowx6k/видео.html Hope this helps.
Does Wild Side actually let you choose two different actions or does it just repeat the same move twice? I assume it's the latter but confirmation would be good.
Approximately how many hours did it take to grind everyone to Level 99, and where did you grind at primarily? Also, I thought the game didn't let you name the Hero Erdrick?
Hero gets the name Erdrick after last boss next to the name you picked. How long it took, to be honest I am the last person to ask that since I started game with 3 gadabouts. That took 10-20 hours to level 45 and I kept passing out from the farm.
As someone who just made it to the Post Game: Is it recommended to have your party members as Vamps for their levelups to get them ready for End Game, or would more suited personalities based on the Vocation work better?
I would say based on vocation but if you are collecting the other class skills vamp is better to even the stats you out. Seed farming if you wanna tune your stats.
@@lilfarmboi1081 Cheers, thanks for the input! I do plan on all my party members learning everything, so I'll have them equip with the Garter accessory for now.
Are there any build guides out there yet? I am an expert at the original & SFC/GBC remakes of this game, but it seems that a LOT has changed in this version! Looks like classes, spells, abilities & stats are all different now, so my previous knowledge no longer applies... Will need to relearn everything!
I’ve been farming all spells/skills on 3 characters on Draconian and Im looking for some inspiration. My final team lines up perfectly with yours so can I ask: is a Duplic Hat Sage worth using or should I just rely on Call to Arms/Monster Pile-On instead? The Duplic Hat got me through most of the game so far, but I haven’t seen anybody try to use it in low-count clears of Xenlong at all, even if it’s 4 spells in a row. Should I just move to a full Strength build or is it worth a try with Wisdom?
Never used duplic hat once. Call to arm is stronger but will use about over 200K gold to use and kill grand dragon. Monster pile is fine, haven’t been using it much. As for strength or wisdom build not really sure myself since I need more seeds. Will get back to you when I farm more.
@@lilfarmboi1081About those seeds? I don't know if they boosted Thieves steal rates in the Remake compared to the SNES version, but I had over 50 seeds lying around by the time I reached Baramos castle and with zero grinding or farming efforts on my part. Imo keeping a Thief in your party throughout the main quest pays out in long run.
@@mappybc6097 I will never not have a Thief on my party when playing any version of DQ3. I also think it's been all but confirmed that having 2 Thieves will Triple your Steal rate!
Super impressive. Many questions about the builds. Call to arms being used a lot, how much more damage is that compared to Wangler pile on? Also, why thief main late compared to martial artist? I just completed my first playthrough loving the game, and now want to go again min/maxing everything. This video helps me think about some late game targets. any other tips / suggestions would be great.
Used about 200k gold for call to arms. I think I was 300 more dmg to pile on and used all seeds on the fighter. At work atm probably do a seed farm video tomorrow or the next day.
Seeds don't really matter for Call to Arms or Pile on as those use your Level & number of rescued Monsters to calculate power respectively. Also, how come you put your seeds on the already strong MA that can't equip Boomerangs vs the weaker Thieves? Seems the Seeds would be put to better use on the Thieves so they can wipe Randoms faster. Strength also doesn't matter as much when Call to Arms & Pile On do more damage than attacks that actually use Strength. Not trying to criticize or anything, just wondering if I'm perhaps missing something here & would like to learn.
Just day 1 bro. From my uploads the game came out while I need to do about the last 3 bosses of dragon age veilguard. Played for 4-5 hours of dragon quest and had to commit to finish dragon age since I was on the last chapter. After I finished dragon age hard mode I started to grind this game. I wanted to get 999 stats but Fantasian Neo Dimension was about to come out so I stopped. I think I need am near end of that game and need to finish before Faily Tail 2 turn based game comes out. Just a farmer farming games and day work.
For hero its near end game shown in this vid ruclips.net/video/AowZinAqb4c/видео.html For party member ruclips.net/video/o21DY8iU5Ww/видео.html I try to get near same stats but people are telling me its rng with 2 stamina and even out the seeds
"Build" >wild side >call to arms (or monster pile-on) >omniheal spam with maybe a kazap if possible Look, I get that it's optimal but to call this a, "build," is laughable. It's just mindlessly using the literal best dps option in the game and getting lucky the dude doesn't focus down one of your party members. I especially liked the bit where you hesitated on what ability to use on your martial artist, at one point, like you weren't going to just call to arms anyway. This game is so good, as a remake, but the build variety is nonexistent if you want to win. Just bigger numbers using the same exact abilities as everyone else.
No hahaha this is not optimal just did it to test. I wanted 4 members max and no hero. I put build in title because most boss fights vids online they don't show what gear and skills they have. I only put that to show what gear and skills I had at the time, I would also like to know better builds. Love this game, First time playing.
Optimal would be everyone with dragon fire and ice defence gears. They are not the strongest defense gear but if max out defense it becomes the best against post game bosses. Would I recommend that grind, hell no.
I like to think that the War Drum would increase the damage of Call-to-Arms. Just putting that out there.
Hope you do those build videos, i loved your seed farming one! And also i hope that you also try other DQ games.
Only DQ game I played before this was 11 before they added extra stuff to it. I would love to if they released it on PlayStation plus classics.
Let’s hope they release more like this. What class route did you take with your party? And you made them all vamps?
@ all vamp, hero dead at start and 3 gadabouts.
Wasn’t it tough during the story? Also what do you recommend for seed farming? 3 thieves and slime island?
Yea its tough, had to farm more levels. 2 Thiefs should be enough. Just upload a seed farm location vid. ruclips.net/video/PELVtHowx6k/видео.html

You might be able to reduce this by poking the Hero with a Stick & saying "Do something besides Omniheal" 😅
Does Wild Side actually let you choose two different actions or does it just repeat the same move twice? I assume it's the latter but confirmation would be good.
Same move twice sadly .
Approximately how many hours did it take to grind everyone to Level 99, and where did you grind at primarily?

Just from the farming vid I did and thats all. ruclips.net/video/CKvK1uNtoEk/видео.html
My hero name is lilfarmboi, you get Erdrick name next to your after last boss.
How much stronger is that Merchant Army move than Pile On? Is Pile On an acceptable substitute or is it too weak?
Its a bit stronger but at lv99 prob spend 200K gold on Grand Dragon using the Merchant skill. You can get 30K each win on the last monster arena.
I've heard some say that Pile On ignores Defense. Is this true? I'd have to assume not cus it would thus be SUPER overpowered for Metal Farming!
ignores defense? Still hits 1 dmg unless I'm missing something.

Hello?
Your save file is so OP i thought you used save wizard...... but remembered ps5 saves dont work with that so.... your crazy 😂 👍👍
Hardest part was 3 gadabouts at the start till you get their revive skill.
Is this final superboss respawn?! I mean after beat final boss and/or Xenlon, the Grand Dragon will respawn again?!
Yes, you can fight the Grand Dragon multiple times.
@@mr.j3rs3y Really? How? I thought once you beat Grand Dragon once that he's gone forever?

hi, can you tell me y sometimes my currency lowers? yeah i keep losing money idk y..
Are you using call in arms? That uses money.
@lilfarmboi1081 a lot... 😂😂did nit know 😂😂😂 ok now i know thanks!
your thief's helmet and armor are not optimal.
