Love seeing Dom in these. Always providing great insight and context being a person who watches more League than almost anyone co-streaming/live-viewing 3 regions full time. His Gragas prediction play still S++ in our hearts Oldge :)
My favourite part is when Dom ACTUALLY explained why Canyon’s play was good, then went into gritty details about it.
I love how much of a Canyon fanboy and true jungler at heart Dom is. He goes into so much detail about the play and about Lee sin in general.
I'm glad they got someone who REALLY knows what they're talking about

the plays are provided to him, dom didnt pick these, remember its a riot co-opted vid, there was a lock of sick sylas plays, but i cant remember if there was too many where sylas 1v3'd fully only his own so that factor puts it more up there
@@josephnolan6323 oh, not saying he did, by looking at the video all indicates he wouldn't pick it. Personally most Sylas plays I don't like sinces they mostly revolve around just hitting W, then you can miss Q and E most of the time and still come out ahead. I liked Jensen vs Faker 1v1 but if you check Faker missed / Jensen dodge plenty still lost due to Sylas W.

Me wanting to put both Danny and Gumayusi way lower than Dom did makes me realize that maybe I'm prejudiced against ADCs 💀
Well there is definitely an aspect of luck to them, but both of these were high stakes games. Danny got a 2v5 penta right after and Guma timed his Q well.
danny should be lower. Everything was aligned for him. Sure it was in a crucial game but it's NA.....that play should not be on par with theshy. That play deserves A but not S
@@jadentran9895 I'd argue Guma's would be lower, he didn't have to kite the enemy afterwards resulting in a Penta
@@filippoye609 yes but it's LCK vs NA....NA basically threw the play and it was pure luck. Guma at least had to use actual skill to pull that play. Any pro non-NA adc can pull what Danny could pull if given the chance
@@jadentran9895 What do you mean threw the play? Like Santorin can predict Nashor is going to heal at that exact moment lol. In the DRX vs T1 case Pyosik literally missed smite, he could smite at 800 and 400 before arrow came and he just didn't
I'd argue the LCK one had more misplay by the opposing team.
Dom is one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the league of legends scene, period.
Not many people put in the hours like he does. The dude has a crazy work ethic.
I agree on giving most of the credit for the dk’s play to canyon and not to showmaker, but I think the play should have been judged in his entirety and not as a showmaker play, so it could have been higher

The Danny play was one of those plays that looked insanely hype but was actually more just a result of a favorable scenario for his champion. I’ve never played Jinx past Diamond and I’m pretty sure I could still pull that play off at least 7/10 in that situation.

7:00 Simple look at the timer Baron gets I think if i remember correctly 150 hp every minute since the timer reached 29:00 he healed around 150 hp thats why it jumped back to 1000 hp
He knows why it happens he just doesn't think that should be in the game.

The Lee Sin kick by Canyon isnt called ghost-kick, but its actually the drive-by-kick.(because you 'drive by' The enemy you kick)
Ghost-kick is when you insec someone through fog of war (for example using walls or brushes).
We'll never know how good Danny could have been.

Danny S-tier feels like NA bias. That was just the mechanics we expect of a top tier adc tbh. The enemy team definitely also choked it: Bwipo doesn't need to be in the pit and CoreJJ ends up using Bailout on herself. They also didn't put down vision. Hans Sama also stood on top of Bjergsen while Bwipo sword management and desperate early taunt is laughable not to mention the obvious fail smite.
Not really danny played that the best he could. And if you want to make the argument enemy can play better you can say that for theshys play. Why didnt karsa flash Q early or he could’ve flashed out before the tower dive and live
As dom said Danny literally played it pretty much perfectly. Sure you can criticise TL for playing it wrong but if Danny makes 1 mistake he likely just dies.

It's absolutely ridicules to put the Danny and Gumayusi play in S tier when there is no outplay or anything, just a decent performance in that circumstance. It was the moment that stood out, NOT the play. These two are both B tier! The annoying thing is that if you rank like this, you completely take credit away from plays like TheShy which is actually sick! Please change this way of ranking, it's just SO boring.
