Love your videos. This is my first year focusing on dried flowers. Am experimental year. I've made 20 bouquets so far--to gift and sell with my quilted items. Harvesting the blooms and hanging them in the barn to dry brings me such joy! I believe I'll try making a wreath. Thanks for the info.
This is such a random comment I know but I'm making a wreath with the flowers 🌹 from my brothers death this past April. There was no service for him. This is a way for me to honor my brother Jay. I grew up planting flowers with my dad my entire life. 🏵️💮 When I'm around flowers I can't explain how happy it makes me. Your wreath is absolutely beautiful. 💜
I just start to take some management florist store clases last week and we have to do some embroidery hoop dry flowers wreath to give away this 8 March and, when I get home I came here right away to learn how you teach, your are a great passionate teacher. I just can say thank you for sharing all those valuable content with us!
Wow!!!! Wreath is looking so different and Very Beautiful. I too use to collect all the dried things like flowers, seeds, stems and use to arrange them in vase 😍.
wow that is gorgeous I'm getting ready to do one because I have to do something in the 20th century so I ordered some dry flowers plus I have some here thank you so much for showing me how to do it Rosalie Suitter
Beautiful 😊 Love to see your creations with dried flowers I was amazed with your Christmas tree video that you did. You prove that dried flower arrangements don't look just like a bunch of dead flowers. Jan uk
What an incredibly good idea to put your house number on it! I bet it would be perfect at the end of my driveway and changed out seasonally. Thanks for the inspiration!!
That is just beautiful, thanks for sharing the information on how to do it. I'm sure you enjoy seeing the flowers you grew in 2020 living on with this beautiful wreath!
This wreath is gorgeous! You so inspired me to decorate a Christmas tree with dried flowers next Christmas and now I have another project! Thank you for your creative ideas and sharing them!
Absolutely stunning so nice to see some beautiful colours, I adore dried flowers I have an house full of dried wreaths but never been brave enough to do my own but you’ve completely inspired me to try and give it a go Thank You 🙏
Your home must be lovely with all the dried flower wreaths! My grandma had them everywhere. I think she did a lot on straw hats also. Do you have any like that?
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens They are mainly heart shaped, I love hearts and birds, I’m a proud owner of a Parrotlet 🦜 who loves to sit on my shoulder and enjoy watching our garden you tubers 🥰 I would love a hat one like your Grandmother maybe I could make one myself which would be lovely 😊
So beautiful! Thanks for the step by step demo. I am also getting ready to make a smaller dried flower grapevine wreath so I was excited to see you making one. And how special to have part of your grandma on the wreath. Love it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💚👩🏼🌾
That’s a beautiful wreath. I have never grown the flowers you used on this and I am really excited to grow them. They are so pretty! I’m making a little list and looking forward to gardening! 💜
I have been enjoying your videos! Your selection of dried flowers is impressive.I have always grown Silver King Artemisia for drying. It would really make you colors pop if used for a background. Thanks for your wonderful videos.
Also, my thoughts are definitely turning more towards what I will be growing in terms of drying. I used to dry flowers (like you said back when it was in style) and you’ve inspired me to start drying again! I like that the trend seems to be leaning toward this now. It’s so fun to have your own dried flowers 🌸
Wow, another one of your gorgeous projects. I love the style and the colors of this arrangement. Reminded me that I need more seeds. And reminded me that I have to unwire my Adventskranz, it looks a bit dry. Thank you for the inspiration! Stay safe, happy gardening, Hanni.
Magnificence! You inspire with live this wreath. Which way do you use to dry flowers to protect their colors. Do you use any chemical product. Thank you for presentation.
Beautiful assymmetrical design! Might be a silly question, butwhere can you buy floral wire? Besides floral supply wholesalers, are they at craft stores?
Beautiful! Love how you've incorporated your own dried flowers into this. Hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy :) In one of your 'tour' videos you talked about the Mexican Sage bush which I thought was a wonderful plant. Is there another name for it? I've looked for those seeds and haven't been able to find it.
Hi Leia! I dont believe you can purchase the seed. It is propagated by cuttings. You may be able to find a mother plant at the nursery in the herb section. I hope that helps!
Hi friend! What flowers in particular went brown for you? They may have been wet, or needed to be picked at a different time. Some flowers dont dry as well as others. The ones you see here were hung and air dried.
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens I had bought some zinnia seeds from the dollar store, which turned out to be pretty good but did not dry well at all. I live in Texas where heat and humidity is a major factor. Thank you for the information though. I really appreciate it.
Hi there! It varies from flower to flower, but in general we harvest flowers for drying more open (older) than those we pick for fresh cuts. For example - if I'm harvesting larkspur for fresh arranging I will pick it 1/3 open, but if I wanted to dry it I would wait until it's almost completely open.

Super pretty. Did you dry the evergreens also?
It's beautiful!❤ How do you keep the flowers from breaking off? Gomphrena and Larkspur stems are so brittle.😢
Beautiful assymmetrical design! Might be a silly question, butwhere can you buy floral wire? Besides floral supply wholesalers, are they at craft stores?
Never a silly question here! Yes, you can purchase it at most craft stores. I have also purchased it from Amazon.

@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens I'm learning so much from you! Thanks so much Danielle :)
How did you dry the flowers so they retained the color? I tried drying the flowers, and they all turned brown. This is so perfect. 👏🏻👏🏻

Do you pick flowers for drying at the same stage as for cut flower bouquets?
