Did Lumpus' great grandfather possess him or something? Always wondered why Lumpus went insane and wounded up fully becoming the general before Slinkman snapped him out of it. Guess it's just one of Lumpus' "episodes", like Slinkman implied.
Little did we all know when this first aired, we found out that his great grandfather was not noble after all considering he dismantle his own men's tents for his own safety.
Dude, a Camp Lazlo revival would ROCK!! I would love ANY new cartoons from Joe Murray!! Let's Go Luna, to be honest, isn't the kind of show I would expect him to do, but I'm glad he enjoyed working on the show. But, it would be SUPER awesome if he came back and made a show targeted towards people of all ages filled with adult jokes and have the old crew back together: Carlos Alazraqui, Tom Kenny, Mr. Lawrence, Derek Drymon, and many more!!
This episode was kind of freaky lumpus completely lost himself in his story literally. He spent hours destroying bushes trying to find them and when they revealed themselves he just thought they were reinforcements. It’s like he somehow got ptsd for a battle he wasn’t in.
You could hear "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" when Lumpus climbed the mountain for the first time. I like the fact this episode use a lot of 1860s Americana musics. You can even hear Slinkman playing Dixie when he is using the harmonica.
In truth he was attacked by his own men because the tent he said was an heirloom was actually made of his own troops tents. He got ran off the hill and then for some reason ran into a circus where he was and I quote "Ran over by the elephants and then cleaned up by them." That's the true story.
Happy birthday Tom Kenny! Nobody could voice Lumpus like you.
It's real funny how Carlos Alazraqui, Jeff Bennett and Tom Kenny were all born in the same year.

Man had a flat out Vietnam flashback (pimpleback mountain style) Those poor bushes lol
This episode proofs while foreshadowing the fact that Lumpus is an escaped mentally ill patient from an asylum.
1:44 Jeez, Lumpus needs to calm down. He's destroying every single leaves of bushes.

Proof of Lumpus being a unstable mentally escapee from asylum
I miss Camp Lazlo. Anyone want Camp Lazlo revival?
But with good storytelling and enjoyable characters.

@@joeydarigold I like your thinking
No. Not by Cartoon Network. The show would be ruined by modernity.

He got too much American Civil War vibes.
0:19 HOLY SHIT, that's Dixie playing in the background.
Camp Lazlo just became Confederate Lazlo.

@@PoisonousDave What episode does Slinkman play Dixie on the harmonica?
I think he only played in this episode at the start.
What a bad way to treat a Bean Scout
I remember this episode. I remember watching it on RUclips
The cracks in his psyche begin to manifest....

In this case General Lumpus had steal the tents from his own troops to make even the bigger tent.
Yeah, and his own men was very mad that he stealing their tents.
