You should put hoses on your drain , your eroding the base of your pool on outer sides but good job otherwise

Omg plug them on inside! Leave it full! Cover skimer and return and leave pool full

@@connieelks1004 what do you use to plug the inside? I don't want the plastic to crack over the winter.

I’m actually getting ready to help my parents with their pool (I was looking for a video with some tips/tricks) and we always drain the water down to the bottom of the skimmer so the water doesn’t crack the plastic and pvc. I guess you could block it off with something to keep water out but that ice will destroy that pvc instantly in the winter!!

These don’t work for me in NC. Wind gets under liner and blows it up like a ballon.

Does the tarp handle the snow accumulation? Do you have to clear the snow regularly to avoid sagging?

Should have dropped water level before cover on and drain water away from pool 😁

I 100% agree... You absolutely have to lower the water below the water inlet or it will crack the inlet filter and the water inlet. There made of plastic and will crack.

I was thinking the same thing, but where I come at a Crossroads is when I think that if I don't have enough water my tarp is going to Sag from the snow and it is going to tear or collapse into my pool

I always lower my water last because it also helps with getting the liner on it. But I never drain my pool down next to the pool. I always run the hose out to the yard while I'm lowering it

Terrible instruction. Don’t drain your pool, get a gizmo plug and leave the water in

Can’t do that everywhere. I live in Massachusetts and if you don’t drain below the plastic around the skimmer cracks.

I gave up on those pillows. They become deflated before the first snow.
