Brilliant, Matt. There can never be firmed-up plans north of the border. But when it comes good it cant be bettered. I'm guessing though there's some (more, really) good stuff in the off'ing ;) Missed my dose of the Highlands this year, films like this really make up for it. Si.
Hi Si, completely agree that you can't plan, even though we considered ourselves outdoorsy and able to prepare for the unexpected. Buy as you say, nature is in control around there 😂. And I cannot confirm nor deny the content of the next episode 😉. Thanks for the comment 😁
Great images of the jellyfish Matt. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions when you’re out doing photography fingers crossed you make it Mull. Cheers Keith
Solid post, Matt. Story telling ups and downs, leaving viewers in suspense about getting to Mull and “chasing otters with no experience” - maybe you’ll find some “experienced” otters to cooperate😁. Kidding aside the jellyfish macros were brilliant - an unexpected focal length departure from your customary telephoto images. How big do the jellyfish near shore get to be? Stylish camo, too😁. Cheers.
Hi Paul, thank you for your lovely comment, really appreciated! I guess you will have to watch episode two now to find out what happens ;). The Jellyfish near shore can be huge, but most are around 50cm in diameter, but even they don't seem that small! :D Thanks for watching!
@@MattGouldphotography Brilliant pal, love the jellyfish macro shot, who knew that they had so much detail, captured beautifully by yourself. You never have much look with weather do you, Wales comes to mind. Fingers crossed tho that you get over to Mull, so close yet so far. Look forward to seeing part tw0.
You'll be proud to know that in 20 years of RUclips activity you get my very first Bell Notification 😄😄👍 Another great vid Matt. I've been incredibly lucky to have seen Otter on my local River Loddon about a year ago... although i fudged up my shots completely.... not knowing my camera that well I thought i had captured several fantastic images, so close too, when in fact all I had done is switched the vid capture on off on off on off.... etc. Some beautiful half blurry fraction of a second clips. 😄. Dohhhhh. See you in part 2.... 🙂👍
A true honour Steve, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Shame to hear about your missed opportunity with the otters. Though I have been there myself 😅. Hopefully the next episode will be a good one 😁
