I've always been skeptical of Autographed Cards. Because it's easy to damage a card, if you're walking around after a game, trying to get the player to sign the card.
I've got baseball cards all the way back from the 50,s and 60,s from when my brother was a kid and My mother collected them for him and she Even collected baseball cards all out through the years and they're all in mint condition
Unless its able to detect card flaws this is useless. Everyone will just say their card is PSA-10 and overcharge. then you see it and it looks like its been put through a washing machine.
Someone make one for Beanie Babies so I can get rid of all of these much easier. I know 99.9% are worth no more than $5, but some are, and it's so much work to find out which. 😆
To bad this app wasn't created in the 1980's when apps where a big thing when they cam out in the computer era of 1980s-1990s. Because back then its same technology then just revisited and redesigned today, accuracy undetermined in my opinion. Coming from a software engineer that knows. Peace!
I wish someone that talks I bought a business are reporting about one could actually be involved at least for a week to give your own opinions. I am a very big collector can I scan some normal cards in there another 15 it only recognized one so basically you're reporting the news about something that doesn't even work
"95% accuracy". What does that mean exactly? Hate to break to folks but there really is no such thing as your cards (or really anthing collectible) being worth a particular amount because some source, printed, digital or otherwise says it's worth that amount. Ultimately its worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. Hopefully, the people you are using this app are learning that lesson.
From what I can tell they are averaging actual sales of the cards acroos ebay and their own service and they give the opportunity to drill down and see the individual cards that sold. It's not perfect and you're right, they are only worth what someone will ultimately pay you, but this comes pretty close to finding out what you might be able to actually sell it for.
this is a brilliant idea for an app. to be honest I'm surprised that no one thought of it sooner.
They did - Cardbase has been around since 2020

I had some baseball cards back in the 90’s, it’s too bad this technology didn’t exist back then. Ended up donating the cards to a thrift store.
If those cards were from the 90s, barring a Kobe rookie card, you likely didn't miss out on anything.
They called that time the junk wax era for a reason.
How about a Shaq or Ozzie Guillen?

I'll give you $5 for them
@@noro305😂😂😂😂😂
Beckett magazine use to have the prices for sports cards
It still exists, but since eBay became a thing and you could see real time sales results, it no longer carries the cred that it once did.

You have them professionally graded. Not what the scan says

I’m waiting for a similar app for comic cards.

If you mean actual cards like Marvel, I'm not sure why this same app couldn't do that.
have you tried the center stage app?

Beckett Magazine disliked this video.

This app doesn't even work on all cards😂
Yeah I tried scanning a lot of cards from 2020 and none come up
Few people don’t know what it worth ? It’s only worth what someone willing to pay 💰
Cost money for it

This app is wildly inaccurate with its card values.
Does it do pokemon and metazoo
No I pretty sure just pokemon
Most of the time it can't find the right card when scanned
"Collecting, trading, and selling"
Let us not forget scamming as well. Thieves are always looking for the next idea 😮💨
👻👈🏾
Wait, that dudes name is Sharon???!! What the....

PSA APR and card ladder give comps but that doesn't mean next person will pay the same or more for the card

Maybe they stole my idea 💡 🤔 when I was looking to the pretty woman 😍 👩.

Yeah apps values are wikd.
Pretty cool app. But card collecting/trading is a scam all together.
It's not a scam, it just takes a lot of research to understand what you're buying
