I had some left over salmon which I broke up and set aside to add to a buttered pan of sliced fennel bulb, zucchini, 3 spring onions, an onion, a few cherry tomatoes plus a tbs of capers and pickled green peppercorns, which really set it off. I added fettucini to it and a lashing of butter, then showered it with black pepper. I'm glad I live alone. No way I was sharing that. Two helpings while watching the football .
Apparently people in the youtube comments don't understand that the amount of butter and salt she used was actually right on point with what most trained chefs would do. She knows what she's doing guys, and a meal like this can totally still be a part of a balanced diet. Meanwhile, everyone hating on her for using too much salt and butter are microwaving their frozen mac & cheese, or boiling water for their ramen noodles.

Ciao, Giada! Rosalia Keller
giada you are the most amazing cooking that i love your channel and i love all of the meals and i love and passion about food can you put me in the bobby flay for me i have everything to get him down in his show i am the best cooker off let him know about me thanks and because i am super-gril that is my name of my cooker name
Looks so easy to make pan seared salmon...but I always overcook it :[ need to keep trying but this looks amazing. I would alter the amount salt and butter just a tad bit but still good!
Fried eggs, blob of butter and about tablespoon of water in a small pan. Add couple of eggs, the trick is to put a clear lid on the pan. Pan on the small burner or on low heat. Perfect everytime.
She’s the most beautiful woman in the world, followed by Sofia Vergara, actress and then Sasha who was an Olympic silver medalist 2006. Sasha once appeared as a guest star visiting Hell’s Kitchen with fellow Olympic champion John(I don’t know his last name).
Giada I have a simple question why you always look so beautiful sweet stunning magnetic irresistible ravishing rare fresh flower!! I like to know can you tell me. Can I have some of that delicious mouthwatering juicy salmon!! Grazie mille!!
If you put salt on one side why would you not put salt on the other side I don't understand why you going from oil and salt to butter and shallots it's not making any sense to me anybody want to help me and maybe answer my question did you can thank you greatly appreciated
Oil and butter have very different flash points and also taste quite differently. So you don't want to use butter to cook/sear the salmon as you'd burn the butter. But adding butter towards the end with the herb(s) infuses flavour and texture. Same with the shallots/spinach mix - start with oil and finish with butter. Hope that helps.
Butter by itself burns. When you add refined olive oil or a vegetable oil, you raise its smoking point. It’s a pretty common thing to do. I’d say I do it daily.
Não sei porque reclamam da quantidade de sal. Ninguém aqui comeu. Quando fizerem, se fizerem, coloquem a porra de quatidade que vcs quiserem. Que gente chata da porra
Perfection. I did not change anything and followed her directions exact. Best King Salmon dish ever. Thanks!

Don't want to undercook your seafood just as you don't undercook pork.
Mucho bueno
The only salmon I like is the smoked one cut into very thin slices and coated with salsa verde.
A delicacy
Sounds delish 😋
Have to see first.

OH MY GAGA! Every bit of it.
What can you use in the place of salt if you can’t use salt?
Did you see how much salt she used? Salt is this whole meal. The salmon is the seasoning.
not only that.. have you ever tried peeling an artichoke!
I remember back in middle I watched her. It was always around 3:30 I think. Man, good to see her again.
Still as beautiful as ever, too.
Salt shud be added as pinch not punch
u mean salt should be added
How did you go from the kitchen to a boat without your dish getting cold?
😍😋😋😋😋🥰🙆💛♥️💖
Gud

You guys are being ridiculous do you see the thickness of that salmon I think she salted it appropriately
AW OKAY RIGHT?! I can’t imagine how bland these peoples’ food must taste.
There are other seasonings besides just dousing everything in salt.
Demaree Wheeler the comment is in response to people going nuts about her “putting too much salt” which she seemingly did not
thanks
That looks like a lot of salt!
Because it is!
I’d rather have more salt then live my life bland. I salt my salmon like crazy! Like legit, I add double what she did.

Would have also added black pepper as well.
You’d be surprised how much salt is actually needed. Remember, different salts act differently.

But I'm confused, how did she get the food to the damn boat?
the food they served on the boat wasn't necessarily the same as the food they made in the cooking segment

All the water in my body dried up instantly just watching her salt that poor fish.
